Qatar Proves Arab Countries Worthy of Hosting Major International Events

Doha: The success achieved by the State of Qatar in organizing an exceptional edition of the FIFA World Cup reveals every day the correctness of its approach of not paying attention to the systematic smear campaigns it has been subjected to over the years since winning the honor of hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022. They drive their cars, go to work, cafes and restaurants, enjoy their time with their children, and communicate with everyone through social networking sites and the Internet. Women in the Qatari markets find the same products that are sold in the western markets.” British researcher and academic Simon Chadwick said that Qatar, by organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, was able to take the World Cup out of the Qatari geographical space to become a regional event with excellence, whose echo extended to the entire Arab region from the Middle East to North Africa, and became an occasion in which all residents of the region participate.

He noted that Qatar’s organization of the World Cup disappointed the expectations of many. ومع انطلاق صافرة أولى مباريات المونديال التي تلت افتتاحا كان الأكثر إبهارا في تاريخ بطولات كأس العالم، استطاعت قطر تسجيل فصل جديد من فصول استضافة البطولة كأول دولة عربية شرق أوسطية تحتضن الحدث الكوني الكبير، كما شهد حفل افتتاح البطولة مزجا فريدا بين عبق الشرق بنكهة قطرية خالصة وبين حداثة الغرب بإيقاعه السريع، حيث تميزت فقرات الحفل بإبهار بصري لم تشهده افتتاحيات بطولة كأس العالم من قبل، باستخدام أحدث التقنيات العالمية في الإضاءة والصوت والخدع البصرية.

ومنحت قطر نهائيات كأس العالم مذاقا عربيا خالصا، من خلال حفل الافتتاح الذي احتضنه استاد البيت المستوحى تصميمه من الخيمة البدوية التراثية، فضلا عن اصطفاف الخيول العربية خارج الاستاد، بالإضافة إلى ما تضمنه الحفل من عروض فنية تجمع بين التقاليد العربية والثقافة العالمية، إلى جانب تكريم جميع الفرق المشاركة في البطولة والدول المستضيفة للنسخ السابقة من البطولة والمتطوعين.

ووجهت دولة قطر، من خلال تنظيمها بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، رسالة مهمة من الوطن العربي الكبير إلى العالم أجمع، مفادها دعوة الجميع إلى الالتقاء في وحدة واحدة، ومد الجسور بين جميع الاختلافات في العرق والدين والثقافة واللون والجنس، وملء كل المسافات بالقبول والاحترام والتعايش، كما شكلت قطر باستضافتها البطولة ملتقى للحوار بين الشرق والغرب.

وفي هذا الصدد، قال الصحفي الرياضي المكسيكي ايجناسيو سواريز: إن “الصورة المرعبة والمريعة التي روّج لها الغرب عن قطر، وعن العرب بشكل عام، تختلف عن الصورة التي نشاهدها أمامنا في هذا البلد.. صحيح أن الثقافة العربية الإسلامية تختلف عن ثقافتنا، لكن علينا أن نفهمها ونتقبّلها.. فكل منا مختلف عن الآخر، وعلينا أن نقبل بعضنا البعض من أجل أن نتعايش”.

وأضاف سواريز، في بث مباشر من الدوحة على موقع /AD Noticias/: “ينبغي علينا الاعتراف بأن قطر والعالم العربي الذي نراه مختلفا تماما عما كنا نسمعه في الإعلام الغربي”.

وفيما يتعلق بما يردده البعض عن فرض قيود على المرأة، أكد الصحفي المكسيكي أن المرأة تعيش في قطر حياة طبيعية، حيث تقود سيارتها، وتذهب إلى العمل والمقاهي والمطاعم، وتستمتع بوقتها مع أولادها، وتتواصل مع الجميع عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي والإنترنت، كما تجد المرأة في الأسواق القطرية المنتجات نفسها التي تباع بالأسواق الغربية.

من جانبه، رأى الباحث والأكاديمي البريطاني سيمون شادويك أن قطر استطاعت بتنظيمها بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، الخروج بالمونديال من الحيز الجغرافي القطري ليصبح حدثا إقليميا بامتياز امتد صداه إلى المنطقة العربية كافة من الشرق الأوسط إلى شمال إفريقيا، وأصبح مناسبة يتشارك فيها جميع سكان المنطقة.

وأشار إلى أن التنظيم القطري لبطولة كأس العالم خيب توقعات الكثيرين، فبينما توقع البعض أن تكون هذه البطولة حدثا قطريا خالصا لن يشارك فيه الكثير من جماهير وعشاق كرة القدم في الدول العربية وغيرها من دول العالم، شهدت البطولة حضور جماهير غفيرة من الدول الخليجية والعربية وجميع دول العالم، ما أضفى على البطولة أجواء استثنائية.

وأضاف شادويك، في تصريح لبرنامج /Insights/ على موقع /Skema BS/ الفرنسي، أن بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 أظهرت مدى التلاحم بين الشعب القطري والشعوب العربية والخليجية والتي اصطفت جميعها خلف المنتخبات العربية المشاركة في البطولة، منوها بالحضور الكبير لعشاق كرة القدم من الجمهور السعودي الذين أثروا أجواء المونديال.

واختتم الباحث والأكاديمي البريطاني تصريحه بأن تنظيم هذا الحدث الرياضي العملاق هو شهادة اعتراف بندية الدول العربية وأحقيتها في تنظيم مثل هذه البطولات الدولية الكبرى التي استأثرت بها دول معينة في السابق، مشيرا إلى أن تنظيم دولة قطر للبطولة منح هذا الحدث بعدا رمزيا بامتياز.
