فقد تحدث كريستوف ايرهارت مراسل صحيفة “فرانكفورتر العامة” الألمانية، في مقال، عن مدى الخطأ الإستراتيجي الذي وقعت فيه بلاده من ناحية عدم استثمار المونديال، لتعزيز علاقتها وثقتها مع دولة قطر وغيرها من الدول الخليجية، مؤكدا أن الدوحة نجحت في تحقيق هدف مهم من أهدافها في تنظيم كأس العالم، وهو تحويل مونديالها لمونديال كل العرب.

وأوضح أن هذه النسخة “العربية” للمونديال جمعت العرب، اليوم، في خط واحد رافض لـ”التعالي الألماني خاصة والغربي عامة” في التعاطي بشكل انتقائي مع ملف حقوق الإنسان، واصفا ما قامت به وزيرة الداخلية الألمانية، من تصريحات حول استحقاق قطر في تنظيم بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، بأنه “أضر بالعلاقة بين البلدين، ولم يسهم، لا من قريب أو من بعيد، في تحقيق الغرض المراد منه”، قائلا “إن القيادة ستعيد توجيه بوصلتها السياسية بعد المونديال”.

وفي سياق متصل، أكدت دوناتا هوبفن رئيسة رابطة الدوري الألماني، في تصريحات، أن بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 ستؤدي إلى تغيير أمور كثيرة، وستلفت الأنظار إلى موضوعات مهمة، معتبرة أن “المونديال في قطر له تأثير دائم على كرة القدم، نتيجة للعديد من الأحداث التي رافقت البطولة”.

كما تحدثت هوبفن قائلة “إن دولة قطر اتخذت قرارات هامة.. كأس العالم في قطر سيؤدي إلى تغيير أمور كثيرة، وسيلفت الأنظار إلى موضوعات مهمة، وقرار منع إحدى الإشارات كان صحيحا، لأن اللاعبين هنا للعب كرة القدم”، مضيفة “أنها أكبر بطولة كروية في العالم، وفي نهاية المطاف علينا دائما أن نتذكر أن الأمر يتعلق بالرياضة، وينبغي أن تكون الرياضة محوره.. نحن هنا للعب كرة القدم.. وأنا سعيدة للغاية، لأننا الآن نركز على الشق الرياضي”.

بدوره، قال آندي سبالدينغ أستاذ القانون في جامعة “ريتشموند” الأمريكية، إن قطر تصرفت بشكل مختلف تماما عن الدول المضيفة السابقة، منوها بما تم انجازه في دولة قطر من تعديلات على قوانين العمل، وكذا علاقاتها مع هيئات دولية مهمة مثل منظمة العمل الدولية.

وقال سبالدينغ، في تقرير بعنوان “انتقادات غربية لقطر تثير تساؤلات عدة” نشره موقع “دويتشه فيله” الألماني، “إذا أردنا جعل الرياضة أكثر امتثالا لحقوق الإنسان، فعلينا أن نتعلم مما يحدث حتى نتمكن من تطوير مثل هذه الفعاليات”، معتبرا أن التقدم الذي أحرزته قطر “قد تم تجاهله”.
