Cairo: The Cabinet of Egypt applauded the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which was held at Al-Bayt Stadium on Sunday, stressing that the ceremony which saw a remarkable presence of a large number of leaders and presidents, lived up to the level of the event.
A report by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) published Monday affirmed that the State of Qatar was able to dazzle everyone while highlighting the features of its Arab identity during the World Cup opening ceremony.
The report indicated that Qatar grabbed the limelight as football fans all over the world gathered yesterday in front of television screens to follow the largest sporting event – the opening of the FIFA World Cup – which is being organized for the first time in an Arab, Middle Eastern country.

القاهرة: أشاد مجلس الوزراء المصري بحفل افتتاح بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، الذي أقيم يوم /الأحد/ في استاد البيت، مؤكدا أن الحفل الذي شهد حضورا لافتا لعدد كبير من الزعماء والرؤساء، كان على مستوى الحدث.
وأكد تقرير لمركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار بمجلس الوزراء المصري، أن دولة قطر استطاعت إبهار الجميع مع إبراز ملامح هويتها العربية خلال حفل افتتاح المونديال.
كما أشار التقرير إلى أن قطر خطفت الأضواء، حيث التف عشاق كرة القدم حول العالم بالأمس، أمام شاشات التلفزيون، لمتابعة الحدث الرياضي الأضخم وهو افتتاح بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم، والتي يتم تنظيمها لأول مرة هذا العام في دولة عربية شرق أوسطية.
