DFI to Screen ‘Made in Qatar’ Films for World Cup Fans During Doha Film Experience

Doha: Doha Film Institute will give residents and football fans from around the world an opportunity to discover exciting voices from Qatar’s vibrant film industry in the special ‘Made in Qatar’ showcase during the Doha Film Experience, with screenings at M7’s Sky Theatre and Qatar Foundation’s Al Khater House.

The screenings at M7 will be held on Nov. 25 and 26, and Dec. 2 and 3 followed by the screenings at Al Khater House in Qatar Foundation on Dec. 13, 14, 16 and 17.

The special ‘Made in Qatar’ Showcase, part of the Doha Film Experience, is a rich cultural tribute to the nation. The films highlight the thriving cinematic ecosystem of the country to the world and its amazing range of talents, who stand out for their bold vision, creativity and innovative approaches to storytelling.

الدوحة: توفر مؤسسة الدوحة للأفلام للجماهير من قطر والعالم فرصة استكشاف الأصوات السينمائية المميزة من قطر، وذلك من خلال برنامج “صنع في قطر”، حيث ستقدم العروض في المسرح الخارجي في مركز /M7/ وبيت الخاطر في مؤسسة قطر.

وباعتباره جزءا من فعاليات “تجربة الدوحة للأفلام”، يعد برنامج “صنع في قطر” بمثابة تحية تقدير ثقافية إلى الوطن، ويقدم للعالم مدى تطور المشهد والبيئة السينمائية في قطر وتنوع المواهب الرائعة التي تعبر عن رؤاها الجريئة ومقارباتها الإبداعية في مجال السرد القصصي.

وقالت فاطمة حسن الرميحي الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة الدوحة للأفلام، في تصريحات بالمناسبة: “نشعر بفخر استثنائي لتقديم برنامج “صنع في قطر” الذي أعد خصيصا ضمن تجربة الدوحة للأفلام”، موضحة أن هذا البرنامج يظهر مدى تطور الثقافة السينمائية الحيوية في قطر ويسلط الضوء على تنوع مواهبنا وقدراتها.
