251 Camps Booked on First Day to Register for Winter Camping Season

Doha: The first day of registration for the winter camping season 2022/2023 witnessed the reservation of 251 camps in the sea areas of Sealine and Khor Al Adid, representing 34 percent of the number of camps available in the two areas, where registration was carried out easily.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change indicated that 218 camps were reserved in the Sealine area, while 33 camps were reserved in the Khor Al Adid area.

The Ministry had announced the opening of registration for winter camping season, in three phases, from October 16-27, provided that the registration in the southern regions (Sealine and Khor Al Adid) from October 16-19 and in the central regions from October 20-23, while registration in the northern regions is from October 24-27, through the official website of the Ministries of Environment and Climate Change and the Municipality, or the “Oun” smartphone application, provided that the fees are paid within 3 days of the date of approval of the application electronically.

The annual winter camping season begins in the northern and central regions on November 1, and continues until April 1. It was decided to postpone camping in the southern regions (Sealine and Khor Al Adid) to December 20, provided that the camping period will be extended until May 20, as a commitment from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change to provide the campers with the best quality services and ensure that they are not affected by this delay.

وأوضحت وزارة البيئة والتغير المناخي أنه تم حجز 218 مخيما في منطقة سيلين، بينما تم حجز 33 مخيما في منطقة خور العديد.

كانت الوزارة أعلنت عن فتح باب التسجيل في موسم التخييم الشتوي، على ثلاث مراحل، خلال الفترة من السادس عشر إلى السابع والعشرين من أكتوبر الجاري، على أن يكون التسجيل بالمناطق الجنوبية (سيلين وخور العديد) من السادس عشر إلى التاسع عشر من أكتوبر، وبالمناطق الوسطى من العشرين إلى الثالث والعشرين من أكتوبر، بينما التسجيل بالمناطق الشمالية من الرابع والعشرين إلى السابع والعشرين من أكتوبر، وذلك عبر الموقع الرسمي لوزارتي البيئة والتغير المناخي والبلدية، أو من خلال تطبيق /عون/ للهواتف الذكية، على أن يتم تسديد الرسوم خلال ثلاثة أيام من تاريخ الموافقة على الطلب إلكترونيا.

ويبدأ موسم التخييم الشتوي السنوي في المناطق الشمالية والوسطى في الأول من نوفمبر المقبل، ويستمر حتى الأول من أبريل المقبل، في حين تقرر تأجيل التخييم في المناطق الجنوبية (سيلين وخور العديد) إلى العشرين من ديسمبر المقبل، على أن يتم تمديد فترة التخييم فيهما حتى العشرين من مايو المقبل، وذلك التزاما من وزارة البيئة والتغير المناخي بتقديم خدمات بأفضل جودة للمخيمين، وضمان عدم تأثرهم بهذا التأجيل.
