Ministry receives 8,191 recruitment requests in Sept

Doha: The Ministry of Labour received about 8,191 new recruitment requests in September, according to data published in the ministry’s monthly bulletin. The ministry approved 3,910 requests and rejected 4,281 requests. Requests to modify profession reached 5,015, of which 3,990 requests were approved and 1,025 were rejected.
According to MoL’s bulletin, the number of requests for work permits submitted to the ministry during the month of September reached about 2,175, including 913 requests to renew the permit, 907 requests to issue a new permit, 353 requests to cancel issued permits, and two requests for replacement of lost permits.
In terms of inspection visits to recruitment offices, the statistical bulletin showed that the ministry carried out about 47 inspection rounds on recruitment offices, which resulted in a warning to reverse a violation for one office.
During September, the Labour Inspection Department conducted intensive inspection campaigns to monitor establishment compliance with the laws and ministerial decisions concerned with regulating the Labour market in Qatar.
A total number of 4,560 inspection visits were carried out in various areas, which resulted in 1,216 violations, 473 alerts, and about 81 companies were found to have violated Resolution No. 17 of 2021 regarding the necessary reserves to protect workers from heat stress.
With regard to Labour complaints, the statistical bulletin reflected that the Labour Relations Department received complaints from the facility’s workers against the facility stood at 3653 complaints, of which 601 complaints were settled, 1,327 complaints were referred to committees, and about 1,725 complaints remained under processing.
The number of cases referred to dispute resolution committees during the past month amounted to about 1,327 cases, and the total number of decisions issued by labour dispute resolution committees reached about 376 cases, and the total decisions that are still under processing are about 610 cases.

الدوحة: تلقت وزارة العمل نحو 8191 طلب استقدام جديد في سبتمبر بحسب البيانات المنشورة في النشرة الشهرية للوزارة. ووافقت الوزارة على 3910 طلبات ورفضت 4281 طلباً. وبلغ عدد طلبات تعديل المهنة 5015 طلباً، حيث تم الموافقة على 3990 طلباً منها، ورفض 1025 طلباً.
وبحسب نشرة وزارة العمل، بلغ عدد طلبات تصاريح العمل المقدمة للوزارة خلال شهر سبتمبر الجاري نحو 2175 طلباً، منها 913 طلب لتجديد التصريح، و 907 طلبات لإصدار تصريح جديد، و 353 طلباً لإلغاء تصاريح صادرة، وطلبين لاستبدال التصاريح المفقودة.
وعلى صعيد الزيارات التفتيشية لمكاتب الاستقدام، أوضحت النشرة الإحصائية أن الوزارة نفذت نحو 47 جولة تفتيشية على مكاتب الاستقدام، نتج عنها تحذير بإلغاء مخالفة لمكتب واحد.
وقامت إدارة تفتيش العمل خلال شهر سبتمبر بحملات تفتيشية مكثفة لمراقبة التزام المنشأة بالقوانين والقرارات الوزارية المتعلقة بتنظيم سوق العمل في قطر.
وتم تنفيذ 4560 زيارة تفتيشية في مناطق مختلفة، نتج عنها 1216 مخالفة، و 473 إنذاراً، ووجد أن حوالي 81 شركة خالفت القرار رقم 17 لسنة 2021 بشأن الاحتياطيات اللازمة لحماية العمال من الإجهاد الحراري.
وبخصوص الشكاوى العمالية، بينت النشرة الإحصائية أن إدارة علاقات العمل تلقت شكاوى من العاملين بالمنشأة ضد المنشأة بلغت 3653 شكوى، منها 601 شكوى تمت تسويتها، وإحالة 1327 شكوى إلى اللجان، وما زال هناك حوالي 1725 شكوى قيد المعالجة.
وبلغ عدد القضايا المحالة إلى لجان فض المنازعات خلال الشهر الماضي نحو 1327 قضية، وبلغ إجمالي عدد القرارات الصادرة عن لجان فض المنازعات العمالية نحو 376 قضية، وبلغ إجمالي القرارات التي لا تزال قيد المعالجة حوالي 610 قضية.
