افتتاح معرض عالم كرة القدم في متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3 – 2 – 1

Doha: HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated Saturday the “World of Football” exhibition at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum.
The exhibition will run until April 1, 2023.
During a tour of the exhibition, HE the Minister of Culture was briefed on the exhibition’s sections and the history of the World Cup exhibits from its first launch until the coming version, to be held in the State of Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
The exhibition takes its visitors on a journey through history, from football’s first origins to the establishment of the FIFA World Cup, as well as football’s role in bringing people together.
HE President of the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Thani stated that this exhibition will give a unique experience not only to football fans but to all visitors of all ages and cultural backgrounds. It will also highlight the pivotal role that inclusivity plays in every sport, bringing people closer to one another and building bridges of communication between them.
For his part, Director of the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum Abdulla Al Mulla stated that Everyone knows that football is the most popular game in the world, and this exhibition will enable its visitors to realize the role of sports, especially football in bringing peoples closer, despite the diversity of their cultures. Al Mulla pointed out that the exhibition will show how the sport is particularly popular in Qatar, in addition to the impact of Qatar’s hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 locally and regionally.
The exhibition includes three sections: the first is called “Football for All, All for Football”, and the second section is “The Road to Doha”, while the third is “History in the Making”, whose content revolves around the exhibition and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
“History in the Making” is scheduled to include objects and artefacts from the tournament, such as footballs, shoes, scarves, tickets, posters, official merchandise, and others, documenting the historical achievements made in this edition, and celebrating the events that make history in the State of Qatar.
The exhibition will also display the shirt worn by Argentine footballer Diego Maradona, the ball played in the first World Cup finals in 1930, in addition to the first written football rules guide setting out the game’s rules, as well as a bronze model of the right foot of the famous Brazilian player Pele, which is one of only two in the world, and the shirts worn by some of the sport’s greatest names throughout its history.
The artefacts, films, and photographs on display belong to a variety of local and international institutions, some of which are on loan from collectors, as well as exhibits from the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum football collection, to represent the game’s global reach.
It will also display prominent pieces from major international partner museums, including the National Football Museum in the United Kingdom, the FIFA Museum in Switzerland, and the National Sports Museum in France.
It is worth noting that the exhibition falls under the umbrella of the Qatar Creates initiative, a national cultural movement that sponsors, promotes, and celebrates the diversity of cultural activities in Qatar throughout the year, in its endeavor to connect audiences in Qatar and around the world with the creative industries in Qatar.

الدوحة: افتتح سعادة الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن حمد آل ثاني وزير الثقافة، يوم أمس، معرض /عالم كرة القدم/ في متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3 – 2 – 1، الذي من المقرر أن تستمر فعالياته حتى الأول من أبريل 2023.
واطلع سعادة وزير الثقافة خلال جولة بالمعرض على الأقسام والمحتويات المتعلقة بتاريخ بطولة كأس العالم منذ انطلاقته أول مرة وحتى النسخة المقبلة منه، التي تقام في دولة قطر خلال الفترة من 20 نوفمبر إلى 18 ديسمبر المقبلين.
ويتناول المعرض الأصول الأولى للعبة كرة القدم، و تأسيس كأس العالم FIFA TM، في رحلة عبر التاريخ، بالإضافة إلى دورها في تقريب الشعوب.
وقال سعادة الشيخ محمد بن عبد الله آل ثاني رئيس متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3 – 2 – 1: “سيمنح معرضنا تجربة فريدة للزوار باختلاف أعمارهم وخلفياتهم الثقافية، ولن يقتصر ذلك على مشجعي كرة القدم، كما سيبرز المعرض الدور المحوري الذي تمارسه الشمولية في أي رياضة في تقريب الناس من بعضهم البعض، ومد جسور التواصل بينهم”.
من جهته، قال السيد عبد الله الملا، مدير متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3 – 2 – 1: “الجميع يعرف أن كرة القدم هي أكثر الألعاب شعبية على مستوى العالم، وهذا المعرض سيمكن زواره من إدراك الدور الذي تضطلع به الرياضة، لا سيما كرة القدم، في تقريب الشعوب على الرغم من تنوع ثقافاتهم، لافتا إلى أن المعرض سيوضح كيف تحظى الرياضة بشعبية خاصة في قطر، علاوة على مدى التأثير الذي تحمله استضافة قطر لبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 محليا وإقليميا.
ويضم المعرض ثلاثة أقسام: الأول بعنوان /كرة القدم من أجل الجميع، الجميل من أجل كرة القدم/، والقسم الثاني /الطريق إلى الدوحة/، فيما يحمل الثالث عنوان /نكتب التاريخ/، والذي يدور محتواه حول إقامة المعرض وبطولة كأس العالم في قطر 2022.
ومن المقرر، أن يشمل القسم الثالث قطعا فنية من البطولة، مثل: كرات القدم، والأحذية، والأوشحة، والتذاكر، والملصقات والبضائع الرسمية وغيرها، توثق الإنجازات التاريخية التي تحقق في هذه النسخة، وتحتفي بالأحداث التي تصنع التاريخ في دولة قطر.
كما سيتم خلال المعرض عرض القميص الذي ارتداه الأرجنتيني دييغو مارادونا، وكرة القدم التي لعبت بها نهائيات أول بطولة لكأس العالم عام 1930، بالإضافة إلى أول دليل مكتوب لقواعد كرة القدم يوضح كيفية ممارستها، ومجسم مصنوع من البرونز للقدم اليمنى للبطل البرازيلي الشهير بيليه، وهو واحد من اثنين فقط في العالم، والقمصان التي ارتداها بعض عظماء الرياضة على مر التاريخ.
وتنتمي القطع والأفلام والصور المعروضة إلى مجموعة متنوعة من المؤسسات المحلية والدولية، فيما يندرج بعضها تحت إطار إعارات من هواة جمع المقتنيات، إلى جانب قطع مأخوذة من مجموعة كرة القدم الخاصة بمتحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3 – 2 – 1، ومن أجل تمثيل الامتداد العالمي للعبة.
كما ستعرض أيضا قطعا بارزة من المتاحف الشريكة الدولية الكبرى، بما فيها: المتحف الوطني لكرة القدم في المملكة المتحدة، ومتحف الفيفا، والمتحف الوطني للرياضة في فرنسا.
الجدير بالذكر أن المعرض يندرج تحت مظلة مبادرة /قطر تبدع/، وهي حركة ثقافية وطنية ترعى وتروج وتحتفي بتنوع الأنشطة الثقافية في قطر على مدار العام، في سعيها لربط الجماهير في قطر وحول العالم بالصناعات الإبداعية في قطر.
