FIFA President Affirms World Cup Qatar Will Be the Best in History

New York: FIFA President Gianni Infantino welcomed football fans from around the world to Qatar to attended the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 which will be held from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18.
In televised statements from New York on Sunday on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Infantino said that the World Cup in Qatar will be the best in history in light of the Qatari preparations for the event, the idea of holding it in the Arab region, and Qatar’s readiness to welcome the world.
“As FIFA President, I delegate myself to welcome all the peoples of the globe who will come to Qatar… I welcome the world that will be united during the month of the World Cup.. The Qataris are preparing for a unique event in hosting more than two million athletes who will watch the tournament matches from inside the stadiums, and five billion who will watch the event from all over the world, and it will be amazing.” The FIFA President underlined that the world will be united during the tournament in Qatar, and that everyone will celebrate football.

نيويورك: رحب جياني إنفانتينو رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم /فيفا/ بجماهير كرة القدم من مختلف دول العالم، في قطر، لحضور بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 التي ستقام في الفترة من 20 نوفمبر إلى 18 ديسمبر المقبلين.
وقال إنفانتينو، في تصريحات تلفزيونية يوم أمس من نيويورك على هامش أعمال الدورة الـ77 للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، إن بطولة كأس العالم في قطر ستكون الأفضل في التاريخ من واقع التحضيرات القطرية للحدث، وفكرة إقامتها في المنطقة العربية، واكتمال جاهزية قطر لاستقبال العالم، مشيرا إلى أنه كواحد من أسرة كرة القدم في العالم، يرحب بكل جماهير المنتخبات.
وتابع: “بصفتي رئيسا لـ/فيفا/، أفوض نفسي للترحيب بكل شعوب الكرة الأرضية، الذين سيحضرون إلى قطر، أرحب بالعالم الذي سيكون متحدا خلال شهر كأس العالم، فالقطريون يعدون لحدث فريد من نوعه في استضافة أكثر من مليوني رياضي سيتابعون مباريات البطولة من داخل الملاعب، وخمسة مليارات سيشاهدون الحدث من جميع أنحاء العالم وسيكون الأمر مذهلا”.
وأكد رئيس /فيفا/ أن العالم سيكون موحدا ومتحدا خلال البطولة في قطر، وسيحتفل الجميع بكرة القدم.
