Speed bumps are required in kindergarten’s vicinity

Doha: Citizens have been questioning the reasons behind “Ashghal’s” failure to implement the traffic safety program around schools buildings and private kindergartens and nurseries, despite the importance of constructing industrial speed bumps to reduce speed and installing warning panels to warn of the existence of an educational building in which a large number of children are present.
They stressed the importance of the safety requirements included around those buildings so that the maximum speed is set to be 30 km/h, the establishment and maintenance of safe pedestrians’ pathways, the implementation of the requirements of people with disabilities, and clear asphalt signs to warn the proximity of school entrances and exits to enhance students’ security and safety.

الدوحة: تساءلَ عددٌ من المُواطنين عن أسباب عدم تنفيذ هيئة الأشغال العامة «أشغال» برنامجَ السلامة المروريَّة حول المدارس مقابل مباني رياض الأطفال الخاصة والحضانات رغم أهمية إنشاء مطبات صناعيَّة لتخفيف السرعة وتركيب لوحات تحذيرية للتنبيه بوجود مبنى تعليمي يتواجد فيه عددٌ كبيرٌ من الأطفال،
مؤكدين أهمية أن تشملَ متطلبات السلامة تلك المباني، بحيث يتم تحديد السرعة القصوى لتكون 30 كم في الساعة وإنشاء ممرات آمنة للمشاة وصيانتها، وتنفيذ متطلبات ذوي الإعاقة، وعلامات إسفلتيَّة واضحة للتنبيه بقرب مداخل ومخارج المدارس لتعزيز أمن وسلامة الطلبة.
