Small and large camps’ prices in Aljnoub reserve

Doha: Abdullah Al-Amoudi, the official of modern media in the Aljnoub Reserve, said that the prices for booking camps in the reserve are fixed and as is customary.
He explained, in exclusive statements to Al-Sharq, that the value of booking a small camp is 5,400 QR, which consists of two rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom.
He added that the price of booking a large camp is 8500 QR, as it contains a majlis, two rooms with toilets, a bird room, and a cabin.
Jaber Muhammad Al-Hajri, a member of Aljnoub Reserve, said that the reserve consists of 10 large and small camps, fully equipped with everything needed by falconers.
The reserve provides various types of prey, including bustards, antelopes, rabbits, and caraways.
Al-Amoudi indicated that the start date of the new season, which is scheduled to be mid-November, is before the start of the 2022 World Cup.
The reserve took into account the development of plans and programs to participate in many events that are in line with this global event, and those in charge of the reserve expected an increase in demand this year with Qatar hosting the World Cup.
This reserve, located in the south of Qatar, has wide areas of different sandy and rocky terrains and is varied in vegetation cover, which makes it one of the favorite areas for hunting people and wild trips, and the reserve has been known since ancient times as one of the areas that contain an abundance of hunting and the diversity of its prey.

الدوحة: قال عبد الله العمودي، مسؤول الإعلام الحديث في محمية الجنوب، إن أسعار حجز المخيمات في المحمية ثابتة وكما هو متعارف عليها.
وأوضح، في تصريحات خاصة لـ الشرق، إن قيمة حجز المخيم الصغير تبلغ 5400 ريال وهو عبارة عن غرفتين ومطبخ ودورة مياه.
وأضاف أن سعر حجز المخيم الكبير تبلغ قيمته 8500، ويحتوي على مجلس، وغرفتين مع دورات المياه وغرفة للطيور وكبينة.
وقال جابر محمد الهاجري عضو في محمية الجنوب إن المحمية تتكون من 10 مخيمات كبيرة وصغيرة ومجهزة بالكامل بكل ما يحتاجه الصقار والكشات.
وتوفر المحمية طرائد بمختلف أنواعها منها الحباري والظبي والأرانب والكراوين.
وأشار العمودي إلى أن موعد انطلاق الموسم الجديد الذي من المزمع أن يكون منتصف شهر نوفمبر المقبل، وذلك قبل بدء كأس العالم 2022.
وراعت المحمية وضع الخطط والبرامج للمشاركة بالعديد من الفعاليات التي تتماشى مع هذا الحدث العالمي، وتوقع القائمون على المحمية زيادة الاقبال عليها هذا العام مع استضافة قطر للمونديال.
وتتمتع هذه المحمية الواقعة جنوب قطر بمساحات واسعة مختلفة التضاريس رملية، وصخرية، ومتنوعة في غطائها النباتي مما يجعلها من المناطق المفضلة لدى اهل القنص والرحلات البرية، كما عرفت المحمية منذ القدم بأنها من المناطق التي تحتوي على وفرة الصيد وتنّوع طرائده.
