In this article, we will review the most important leaks and what we know so far about the “iPhone 14”.
iPhone 14 editions:
The new edition Apple will be releasing includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
It is noticeable that Apple will cancel the iPhone mini edition with a small screen size of 5.6 inches from its lineup, due to its low sales, leaving the iPhone 13 mini version as the latest edition.
Changes in the “iPhone 14” design:
There are no major changes in the iPhone 14 design from its predecessors, but there will be a slight increase in the thickness of the camera’s frame on the back of the device, and the frame of the device will have flat edges with a change in the design of the microphone and speaker holes, The iPhone 14 and 14 Max frame will be made of aluminum, while the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max editions will get a titanium frame to increase their durability.
There will be several colors for the new device, and news indicates that the “iPhone 14” and “14 Max” version will come in white, black, red, blue, green, and purple.
The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max editions will be available in gold, silver, purple, green, and graphite.
The leaks indicate that Apple intends to make a change in the shape of the uppercut in the screen, but this is limited only to the “iPhone 14 Pro” and “14 Pro Max” editions. Where the design will change from the usual cut-out shape in previous editions to two holes, one circular and the other in the shape of a pill, and this is accompanied by Apple’s change to the design of the facial recognition technology hardware.

Processor and screen
Apple will not supply all new generation iPhone devices with its latest modern processor “A16”, but the new processor will be limited to “iPhone 14 Pro” and “14 Pro Max” editions, while the 14 and 14 Max versions will have the same processor of the last generation, the A15 Bionic.
With a new processor, new technology must be used to maintain the device’s temperature and performance within the normal limits, as Apple will use the “vapor chamber” technology in the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max editions, which will contain the new processor.
The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro screen will be 6.1 inches with a resolution of “1170 x 2532”, while the iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro Max editions will have a screen size of 6.7 inches with a resolution of “1284 x 2778”.
The aforementioned screens will be LTPS OLED with Promotion technology and a frequency of 120 Hz (120 Hz), which is limited to the two Pro versions only of the iPhone, and will be equipped with the permanent screen feature “Always on Display” which will also be for the Pro edition.
Memory and storage
It seems that Apple will provide wide options in terms of storage memory for the iPhone 14, as the iPhone 14 and 14 Max editions will be available with storage options ranging from 128 to 512 GB, while the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max versions may reach 1 TB.
All iPhone 14 will get 6 gigabytes of RAM, but the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max RAM edition will be equipped with the latest LPDDR5 technology with the highest transfer speed, while for copying For iPhone 14 and 14 Max, this memory will be with LPDDR4X technology, which is the same as in the last generation of iPhone 13 devices.
Battery and charging
The iPhone 14 battery will receive an upgrade in terms of capacity and charging speed, as leaks on Twitter indicated that the new iPhone 14 battery capacities in its various editions are as follows:
“iPhone 14” will have a capacity of 3.279 amps/hour, “iPhone 14 Max” will have a capacity of 4.325 amps/hour, “iPhone 14 Pro” will have a capacity of 3.200, and “iPhone 14 Pro Max” will have a capacity of 4.323.
The new capacities will guarantee a daily use period of about two hours longer than it was for the last generation of the iPhone, as the new iPhone got thicker to accommodate the battery with its larger capacity, and this confirms the presence of an upcoming battery update.
In terms of charging speed, the iPhone 14 will support a charging speed of up to 30 watts in the most extreme cases, and it will decrease to approximately 25 watts with the increase in the percentage of battery charge.
To accommodate this amount of current, it seems that Apple will supply the iPhone 14, in its “Pro” and “Pro Max” editions, with a USB-C charging port, while the other two editions will remain equipped with a “Lightning” socket, and it is worth mentioning that the European Union laws issued recently will force all companies to use the “USB-C” socket in their smartphones in the future.
Cameras
iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max rear camera will get improvements in various aspects, most notably an increase in the camera’s resolution from 12 to 48 megapixels for all lenses, and this development will allow the ability to record video with a resolution of “K8” (8K).
As for the front camera for all iPhone 14 versions, it will come with an “f/1.9” lens slot (f/1.9) with auto focus, and the wider aperture allows more light to pass through to the camera sensor, allowing for deep images of higher resolution.
Networking and Communication
It is expected that Apple will use the Qualcomm X65 modem in the iPhone 14, which is the first modem that allows 5G connection at speeds of up to 10 gigabytes while improving the experience and speed of the connection. It will also allow support for Wi-Fi 6E, the latest wireless networking standard.
In addition, iPhone devices will have an unprecedented feature, which is satellite communication, as this feature will allow sending messages in emergency situations even when there is no cellular coverage, and most iPhone activities will be restricted when this feature is activated to ensure the security of the device.
As for the SIM cards in this new generation of iPhone, it will use e-SIM technology in the regions that support this feature (about 60 countries), as it allows dispensing with traditional SIM cards to save space inside the device.

The price of the “iPhone 14” in its basic edition will not witness an increase in price, unlike the rest of the editions, which will witness an increase ranging from 100 to 300 USD over the last generation, and of course, the price will vary according to the specifications and storage capacity of the iPhone.
The leaks say that the price of the “iPhone 14” will start from $749 and reach $1,099, while the “iPhone 14 Max” will start at $849 and may reach $1199 with the highest features, and the “iPhone 14 Pro” is likely to start from $1049 to $1599, and “iPhone 14 Pro Max” from $1149 to $1699.

ما إصدارات جهاز “آيفون 14″؟
تتضمن الإصدارات الجديدة التي ستعرضها شركة “آبل” “آيفون 14″ و”آيفون 14 ماكس” و”آيفون 14 برو” و”آيفون 14 برو ماكس”.
والملاحظ أن آبل ستلغي نسخة آيفون ميني صغيرة الحجم ذات شاشة 5.6 بوصات من تشكيلتها، وذلك بسبب مبيعاتها المنخفضة تاركة نسخة آيفون 13 ميني كآخر إصدار.
هل هناك تغيير على تصميم جهاز “آيفون 14″؟
لا تغييرات كبيرة في تصميم جهاز آيفون 14 عن الجيل السابق له، لكن ستكون هناك زيادة بسيطة في سمك إطار الكاميرات على الوجه الخلفي للجهاز، كما أن إطار الجهاز سيكون ذا حواف منبسطة مع تغيير تصميم فتحات الميكروفون ومكبر الصوت، وسيصنع الإطار من مادة الألمنيوم لنسخة “آيفون 14” و”14 ماكس”، بينما نسخ “آيفون 14 برو” و”14 برو ماكس” فستحصل على إطار من التيتانيوم لزيادة متانتها.
وبالنسبة للون؛ فسيكون هناك عدة ألوان للجهاز الجديد، وتشير الأخبار إلى أن نسخة “آيفون 14″ و”14 ماكس” ستأتي بالألوان الأبيض والأسود والأحمر والأزرق والأخضر والأرجواني.

ما مواصفات جهاز “آيفون 14″؟
المعالج والشاشة
تشير التسريبات إلى أن شركة آبل لن تزود كل أجهزة الجيل الجديد من آيفون بمعالجها الحديث الأخير “إيه 16” (A16)، بل سيكون المعالج الجديد مقتصرا على أجهزة “آيفون 14 برو” و”14 برو ماكس”، بينما نسخ 14 و14 ماكس ستحظى بمعالج الجيل الماضي ذاته وهو “إيه 15 بيونيك” (A15 Bionic).
ومع وجود معالج جديد لا بد من استخدام تقنية جديدة للحفاظ على درجة حرارة الجهاز وأدائه في الحدود الطبيعية، حيث ستستخدم شركة آبل تقنية “حجرة البخار” (Vapor chamber) في نسختي “آيفون 14 برو” و”14 برو ماكس”، وهما اللتان ستحتويان على المعالج الجديد.
ووفق التسريبات ستأتي شاشة جهاز “آيفون 14” بمقاس 6.1 بوصات لنسختي آيفون 14 و14 برو وبدقة “1170×2532″، أما نسختا آيفون 14 ماكس و14 برو ماكس فمقاس الشاشة 6.7 بوصات بدقة “1284×2778”.

الذاكرة والتخزين
ويبدو أن شركة آبل ستوفر خيارات واسعة من حيث ذاكرة التخزين لجهاز آيفون 14، حيث ستتوفر نسخ آيفون 14 و14 ماكس بخيارات تخزين تتدرج من 128 حتى 512 غيغابايتا، بينما قد تصل لنسخ آيفون 14 برو و14 برو ماكس إلى 1 تيرابايت وفق الشائعات.
أما بالنسبة للذاكرة العشوائية فإن كافة نسخ جهاز آيفون 14 ستحصل على 6 غيغابايتات منها، ولكن الذاكرة العشوائية التي ستزود بها نسختي آيفون 14 برو و14 برو ماكس ستكون بتقنية “إل بي دي دي آر 5” (LPDDR5) الأحدث ذات سرعة النقل الأعلى، بينما لنسخ “آيفون 14″ و”14 ماكس” ستكون هذه الذاكرة ذات تقنية “إل بي دي دي آر 4 أكس” (LPDDR4X) وهي ذاتها في الجيل الماضي من أجهزة “آيفون 13”.
البطارية والشحن
وستحصل بطارية جهاز “آيفون 14” على تطوير من حيث السعة وسرعة الشحن، حيث أشارت تسريبات على تويتر إلى أن أرقام السعات الجديدة لبطارية جهاز آيفون 14 بمختلف نسخه كالتالي:
“آيفون 14″ سيكون بسعة 3.279 أمبيرات/ساعة، و”آيفون 14 ماكس” بسعة 4.325 أمبيرات/ساعة، أما “آيفون 14 برو” فسيكون بسعة 3.200، و”آيفون 14 برو ماكس” بسعة 4.323.
والسعات الجديدة ستضمن مدة استخدام يومية أطول بحوالي الساعتين عما هي عليه للجيل الماضي من جهاز آيفون، حيث لوحظ أيضا من خلال التسريبات زيادة سمك جهاز آيفون الجديد لاستيعاب البطارية بسعتها الأكبر، وهذا ما يؤكد على وجود تحديث قادم للبطارية.
أما من حيث سرعة الشحن فإن جهاز “آيفون 14” سيدعم سرعة شحن تصل حتى 30 واط في أقصى الحالات، وستنخفض إلى ما يقارب 25 واط مع زيادة نسبة شحن البطارية.
ولاستيعاب هذا الكم من التيار يبدو أن شركة آبل ستزود جهاز “آيفون 14” بنسختيه “برو” و”برو ماكس” بمأخذ شحن من نوع “يو إس بي- سي” (USB-C)، بينما تبقى النسختان الأخريان مزودتين بمأخذ “لايتنينغ” (Lightning) كما في الجيل السابق، ويجدر ذكر أن قوانين الاتحاد الأوروبي الصادرة مؤخرا ستجبر كل الشركات على استخدام مأخذ “يو إس بي- سي” في هواتفها الذكية مستقبلا.
الكاميرات
وستحصل الكاميرا الخلفية في آيفون 14 لنسختي برو وبرو ماكس على تحسينات في مختلف النواحي، أبرزها زيادة دقة الكاميرا من 12 إلى 48 ميغا بيكسلا لكل العدسات، وسيتيح هذا التطوير إمكانية تسجيل فيديو بدقة “كيه8” (8K).
أما الكاميرا الأمامية لكل نسخ آيفون 14 فستأتي بفتحة عدسة “1.9/إف” (f/1.9) ومزودة بإمكانية التركيز التلقائي، وتسمح فتحة العدسة الأوسع بمرور المزيد من الضوء إلى حساس مستشعر الكاميرا، وذلك يتيح الحصول على صور عميقة ذات دقة أعلى.
الشبكات والاتصال
ومن المتوقع أن تستخدم شركة آبل مودم “إكس 65” (X65) من “كوالكوم” (qualcomm) في “آيفون 14″، وهو أول مودم يتيح الاتصال بشبكة “الجيل الخامس” (5G) بسرعة تصل إلى 10 غيغابايتات مع تحسين تجربة وسرعة الاتصال، كما سيسمح بدعم معيار “واي- فاي 6 إي” (Wi-Fi 6E)، وهو أحدث معيار للاتصال بالشبكات اللاسلكية.
إلى جانب ذلك ستتوفر في أجهزة آيفون ميزة غير مسبوقة وهي الاتصال بالأقمار الصناعية، حيث ستتيح هذه الميزة إرسال الرسائل في حالات الطوارئ وعند عدم توفر تغطية خلوية، ويتم تقييد أغلب الأنشطة على جهاز آيفون عند تفعيل تلك الميزة لضمان أمان الجهاز.
أما شرائح الاتصال في هذا الجيل الجديد من آيفون فستستخدم تقنية “إي- سيم” (e-sim) في المناطق التي تدعم تلك الميزة (حوالي 60 بلدا)، حيث تسمح بالاستغناء عن الشرائح التقليدية لتوفير مساحة داخل الجهاز.
ما سعر أجهزة “آيفون 14″؟
وفق التسريبات فإن سعر جهاز “آيفون 14” بنسخته الأساسية لن يشهد زيادة في السعر على عكس النسخ الباقية، والتي ستشهد زيادة تتراوح بين 100 حتى 300 دولار عن الجيل الماضي، وبالطبع سيختلف السعر باختلاف مواصفات وسعة تخزين جهاز آيفون.
