Education ministry urges private schools to focus on national identity, Islamic values
التعليم تحث على تعزيز الهُوية الوطنية والقيم الإسلامية بالمدارس الخاصة

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, represented by the Private Education Affairs Sector, has urged private schools and kindergartens to excel and succeed, stressing that it will continue to focus on promoting national identity, Islamic values and the Arabic language in the schools during the new academic year 2022/2023.
On the occasion of the start of the new academic year, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs Omar Abdulaziz al-Naama expressed his satisfaction with the positive atmosphere in the first week of study, which started in some private schools and kindergartens on August 16, while others start Sunday, and appreciated the high attendance rate of students, praising the role of parents and their keenness on their children’s commitment in school from the first day.
He also congratulated the students and all academic and administrative bodies on the start of the new academic year, which he described as exceptional because it coincides with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be hosted by the country at the end of this year, stressing the contributions of private schools and kindergartens in this tournament, which will attract the attention of the whole world to Qatar.
Al-Naama explained that the Private Education Affairs Sector will continue to focus on strengthening the national identity, Islamic values and the Arabic language in private schools.
He pointed out that the operational plan for the year 2022-2023 includes an initiative to raise the awareness of students and children about the teachings of the Islamic religion and the heritage of Qatari society, and has the project “My Values Shape My Identity”. This is based on strengthening the spirit of belonging and loyalty to preserve the principles of authentic national values, and to educate the school community about the importance of the Arabic language as an identity for members of the Qatari society.
The plan also includes consolidating Qatari values and heritage, supporting practices, initiatives and activities that, in turn, work to consolidate positive action, achieve maintaining the identity of the Qatari community in private schools and kindergartens, and building a cohesive role model community aware of national and community responsibility, indicating that co-operation will be made with private school principals in activating the ethical charter and ensuring its proper application in all schools with different curricula.

الدوحة: حثَّ قطاعُ التعليم الخاص بوزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي، المدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة على التميّز والنجاح، وأكدَ أنه سيُواصلُ التركيزَ على تعزيز الهُوية الوطنيّة والقيم الإسلاميّة واللغة العربيّة في هذه المدارس، خلال العام الأكاديمي الجديد 2022/ 2023.
وعبّرَ عمر عبد العزيز النعمة، وكيل الوزارة المُساعد لشؤون التعليم الخاص، بمناسبة بدء العام الدراسي الجديد عن ارتياحه للأجواء الإيجابية في الأسبوع الأول من الدراسة التي انطلقت في بعض المدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة في السادس عشر من الشهر الجاري، فيما يبدأ البعض الآخر منها اليوم، وثمّنَّ نسبة الحضور العالية من الطلبة، مُشيدًا بدور أولياء الأمور وحرصهم على التزام أبنائهم والانتظام في الدراسة منذ اليوم الأول.
وشددَ النعمة في الوقت ذاته على الدور الأساسي الذي تلعبه الأسرة في العملية التعليمية والتربوية، والمُكمل لدور المدرسة، كما هنأ الأبناء الطلبة وجميع الهيئاتِ الأكاديمية والإدارية في المدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة، بانطلاق العام الأكاديمي الجديد، الذي وصفه بالاستثنائي لتزامنه مع بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 التي تستضيفها الدولة نهاية العام الجاري، مؤكدًا على إسهامات المدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة في هذه البطولة التي ستجذبُ أنظار العالم كله نحو قطر.
كما أشادَ بالاستعدادات والتجهيزات التي اتخذتها المدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة لاستقبال العام الأكاديمي الجديد على الصعيدين الأكاديمي أو الإداري، وضمان سير العملية التربوية والتعليمية فيها منذ اليوم الأول للدراسة.
وأوضحَ أن قطاع شؤون التعليم الخاص سيُواصلُ التركيزَ على تعزيز الهُوية الوطنية والقيم الإسلامية واللغة العربية في المدارس الخاصة، لافتًا إلى أن الخُطة التشغيلية للعام 2022-2023 تتضمنُ مبادرةً لرفع وعي الطلبة والأطفال بتعاليم الدين الإسلامي وموروثات المُجتمع القطري، كما تتضمنُ مشروع «قِيمي ترسُم هُويتي» الذي يرتكزُ على تعزيز روح الانتماء والولاء للمُحافظة على المبادئ والقيم الوطنية الأصيلة، وتبصير فئات المُجتمع المدرسي بأهمية اللغة العربية كهُوية لأفراد المُجتمع القطري.
كما تتضمنُ الخُطة ترسيخ القيم والموروث القطري، ودعم المُمارسات والمُبادرات والأنشطة التي بدورها تعملُ على تأصيل العمل الإيجابي، والإنجاز في المُحافظة على هُوية المُجتمع القطري في المدارس ورياض الأطفال الخاصة، وبناء مُجتمع قدوة مُترابط يعي المسؤولية الوطنية والمُجتمعية، مُبينًا أنه سيتمُ التعاونُ مع مُديري المدارس الخاصة في تفعيل الميثاق الأخلاقي، وضمان التطبيق السليم له في جميع المدارس باختلاف مناهجها.
