99 days to Qatar 2022: Ashghal implemented 1,791 road networks, 200 bridges

Doha: The Public Works Authority “Ashghal” reviewed the most prominent projects and efforts related to the infrastructure that has been completed, on the occasion of the 99-day countdown to the launch of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Ashghal stated, through its Twitter account, that 1,791 road networks, 200 bridges, 92 intersections, and 143 tunnels have been completed.
Ashghal also indicated the construction of 2,131 bicycle paths and 2732 surface water drainage networks.
** Roads to stadiums
Ashghal confirmed in statements to Al Sharq last month that work is underway with every effort to complete 98% of highway and infrastructure projects, including the World Cup projects.
Work is also underway around the clock to deliver the rest of these projects, as the projects that have been delivered are the development of highways leading to the World Cup stadiums, as well as other roads in the country, and work to connect them with highways, in addition to establishing green and aesthetic areas on the All roads, residential areas and places around the World Cup stadiums as well.

الدوحة: استعرضت هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” أبرز المشاريع والجهود الخاصة بالبنية التحتية التي تم إنجازها، وذلك بمناسبة بمناسبة العد التنازلي 99 يوم على اطلاق مونديال قطر 2022.
وذكرت أشغال -عبر حسابها في تويتر- إنه تم إنجاز 1791 شبكة طرق، و 200 جسر، و 92 تقطاعاً، بالإضافة إلى 143 نفقاً.
كما أشارت أشغال إلى تنفيذ 2131 مساراً للدراجات الهوائية، و 2732 شبكة تصريف المياه السطحية.
** الطرق المؤدية للاستادات
وأكدت هيئة الأشغال العامة في تصريحات للشرق، الشهر الماضي، أن العمل جارٍ بكل جهد لإنجاز 98 % من مشاريع الطرق السريعة والبنية التحتية بما فيها مشاريع كأس العالم.
كما يتم العمل بشكل متواصل وعلى مدار الساعة لتسليم المتبقي من هذه المشاريع، إذ تمثلت المشاريع التي تم تسليمها في تطوير الطرق السريعة المؤدية إلى استادات كأس العالم، وكذلك الطرق الأخرى في الدولة، والعمل على ربطها بالطرق السريعة، علاوة على إنشاء مسطحات خضراء وأخرى جمالية على كافة الطرق وفي المناطق السكنية والأماكن المحيطة باستادات كأس العالم أيضا.
