Guided Tour on Oil Discovery, Interactive Sound Workshop to be Held at Qatar National Museum

Doha: Qatar Museums (QA) will hold a guided tour next Monday and Wednesday under the title of “The Discovery of Black Gold and its Impact on Life in Qatar” at the Qatar National Museum showroom.

Participants at the tour will be educated about the positive impacts of oil and gas discovery in Qatar as it contributed to the progress in the country in various cultural, economic and political sectors.

QA will also hold next Friday and Saturday Interactive Sound Art workshop at the QNM’s Education Studio led by artist Guillaume Rousere.

During the workshop, participants will listen to, record and edit various voices about Qatar in a bid to construct a better understanding of their environments and surroundings depending on active listening, concentration and attentiveness.

الدوحة: تنظم /متاحف قطر/ جولة إرشادية بعنوان: /اكتشاف الذهب الأسود وتأثيره على الحياة في قطر/، بصالة عرض اكتشاف النفط في متحف قطر الوطني، يومي الاثنين والأربعاء، الأسبوع المقبل.

يتعرف المشاركون في الجولة على التأثير الإيجابي لاكتشاف النفط والغاز الطبيعي في قطر ، حيث ساهم في تطور الدولة في العديد من المجالات الثقافية والاقتصادية والسياسية.

كما تنظم ورشة فنية يومي الجمعة والسبت المقبلين، عن فن الصوت التفاعلي، باستوديو التعلم بمتحف قطر الوطني، ينفذها الفنان جيلوم روسير.

يستمع المشاركون في هذه الورشة إلى أصوات مختلفة مرتبطة بقطر، ثم يقومون بتسجليها وتعديلها وضبطها، حيث يتطلب الاستماع الجيد والانتباه والتركيز لدى المستمع، فمن خلال عمل التسجيلات والإصغاء إليها يستطيع الإنسان أن يبني فهما أفضل لبيئته ومحيطه.
