MOEHE Issues Statement Regarding Preventive Measures

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) stressed the need for all administrative and teaching bodies and students in all – governmental and private – nurseries, kindergartens and schools to conduct a Rapid Antigen Test at home or one of the designated centers, with a maximum of 48 hours before school starts.

MOEHE pointed out that this test is required at the beginning of the new academic year and not weekly.

This came in a statement issued by the MOEHE Wednesday, based on its ongoing preparations for the 2022/2023 academic year, its efforts to combat the COVID-19 spread and in light of the current health indicators of the pandemic in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.

The ministry said that a negative result is needed to grant entry to schools, pointing out that if the result came positive, the nearest health center must be visited and followed preventive measures in this regard should be applied.

Also, the ministry underlined the obligation of administrative and teaching staff, and students to wear masks while in schools and higher education institutions and their various facilities, according to the Cabinet decision in this regard. MOEHE underscored the commitment of the administrative and teaching staff in schools and higher education institutions, in addition to students of higher education institutions, to show green EHTERAZ status before entering schools and higher education institutions.

In its statement, the MOEHE stressed its keenness and commitment to the continuation of the educational process in proportion to all circumstances, emphasizing the obligation to implement preventive measures for students, administrative staff, and teaching cadres by the approved protocols in this regard.

The ministry called on parents and students to adhere to preventive measures to protect their health in a way that contributes to the continuation of the educational process regularly.

الدوحة: شددت وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي على ضرورة قيام جميع الهيئات الإدارية والتدريسية والطلبة في جميع دور الحضانة ورياض الأطفال والمدارس، الحكومية والخاصة، بإجراء اختبار فحص المستضدات السريع (Rapid Antigen Test) بالمنزل، أو بأحد المراكز المعنية، قبل بداية الدوام المدرسي، وبما لا يزيد عن 48 ساعة.

ونبهت الوزارة إلى أن هذا الفحص مطلوب إجراؤه فقط لبداية العام الدراسي، وليس أسبوعيا.

جاء ذلك في بيان أصدرته الوزارة بناء على الاستعدادات الجارية لاستقبال العام الدراسي 2022 / 2023، وانطلاقا من جهودها في مكافحة انتشار فيروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/ وفي ظل المؤشرات الصحية الحالية للجائحة، وذلك بالتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة العامة.

ونوهت إلى ضرورة إحضار النتيجة (سلبية)، للسماح بالدخول إلى المدارس، ولفتت إلى أنه في حال كانت النتيجة (إيجابية)، يجب مراجعة أقرب مركز صحي، والالتزام بتطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية المقررة في هذا الشأن.

كما أكدت الوزارة على الجميع (الهيئة الإدارية والتدريسية، والطلبة) وجوب الالتزام بارتداء الكمامات أثناء التواجد في المدارس ومؤسسات التعليم العالي، وفي مرافقها المختلفة، وذلك حسب قرار مجلس الوزراء الموقر بهذا الخصوص، وكذا التزام الهيئة الإدارية والتدريسية بالمدارس ومؤسسات التعليم العالي، بالإضافة إلى طلاب مؤسسات التعليم العالي بإبراز تطبيق احتراز (اللون الأخضر)، قبل الدخول إلى المدارس ومؤسسات التعليم العالي.

وأكدت وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي بهذه المناسبة في بيانها حرصها والتزامها باستمرار العملية التعليمية بما يتناسب مع كافة الظروف، مع التشديد على الالتزام بتطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية للطلبة والكوادر الإدارية والتدريسية، وفقا للبروتوكولات المعتمدة في هذا الشأن.

ودعت الوزارة أولياء الأمور والطلبة للالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية حفاظا على صحتهم، بما يسهم في استمرار العملية التعليمية بشكل منتظم.
