Doha: Every summer, some people travel abroad and leave their vehicles parked in schools, commercial markets, and mosques’ parking lots.
Citizens considered that the solution lies in the hands of the concerned authority who should carry out a campaign to remove these vehicles from parking lots and issue warnings before the summer vacation season regarding leaving cars in public parking lots, noting that some took advantage of mosque parking lots and public and private schools and converted them into long-term parking spaces for their vehicles.
Al-Raya monitored a number of abandoned vehicles in the parking lot of a private school in Al-Luqta area, where residents complained about the presence of these vehicles and said: They distort the aesthetic appearance of the area, calling on the Ministry of Municipality to cooperate with the concerned authorities to warn the owners of these vehicles and get them to pledge not to leave their vehicles for a long time in the public parking lots.

الدوحة: تَتَفاقمُ فِي كلِّ صيفٍ ظاهرةُ قيام بعض الأشخاص المُسافرين خارجَ البلاد باستغلال مواقف المدارس والأسواق التجارية والمساجد في ركن مركباتِهم وتركها لمدة طويلة، الأمر الذي يشوِّه المظهر الجمالي ويُساهم في جعلها مكانًا لتجمع المُخلفات ومرتعًا للحيواناتِ الضالة.
واعتبرَ مواطنونَ أنَّ الحلَّ يكمن في قيام الجهة المعنية بحملة لإزالة تلك المركبات من المواقف وإصدار تحذيراتٍ قبل موسم الإجازة الصيفيَّة فيما يخص ترك المركبات في المواقف العامة، لافتينَ إلى أنَّ البعض استغلَّ مواقف المساجد والمدارس الحكوميَّة والخاصة وقاموا بتحويلها إلى مواقف طويلة الأمد لمركباتهم.
الراية رصدت عددًا من المركبات المتروكة في مواقف مدرسة خاصة بمنطقة اللقطة، حيث اشتكى السكان من وجود تلك المركبات وقالوا: إنَّها تتسبب في تشويه المظهر الجمالي للمنطقة، مطالبين وزارة البلدية بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية بمخالفة أصحاب تلك المركبات وأخذ تعهُّدٍ منهم بعدم تركها مدة طويلة في المواقف العامة.
