Is the lack of beach services the reason for the revival of cabins and camps rental projects?

Doha: The lack of services that most of the country’s beaches suffer from contributed to the recovery in demand for temporary beach camps, which are set up by a number of companies and individuals during the weekend.

Rented cabins are available on most of the open beaches, especially the beaches of Al Wakra, Al Khor, Ras Matbakh, Arida, Al Maroona, Fuwairit, Al Ghariya, and Dukhan. Many citizens and residents resort to these camps to enjoy their time on beaches.

The tourist cabins contain “five-star” services, including air-conditioned rooms, outdoor seating, toilets, and kitchens for preparing food and drinks.

A number of tourism company owners and licensees from the Qatar Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry confirmed to Al-Raya that the turnout is high during the current summer vacation.

They pointed out that the prices of the services they provide are appropriate, ranging from 800 QR for 10 hours of rent, and up to 2000 QR if the customer requests an entire night, stressing that they are ready to prepare camps in the wilderness areas and all beaches allowed by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for camping.

وتحتوي الكبائنُ السياحيةُ على خدمات «خمس نجوم» تشمل غرفًا مكيفة وجلسات خارجية ودورات مياه ومطابخ لإعداد الأطعمة والمشروبات.

وأكَّد عددٌ من أصحاب الشركات السياحية والمرخص لهم من جهاز قطر للسياحة ووزارة التجارة والصناعة لـ الراية أنَّ نسبة الإقبال كبيرة خلال الإجازة الصيفية الحالية.

وأشاروا إلى أنَّ أسعار الخدمات التي يقدمونها مناسبة، حيث تتراوح من 800 ريال لكل 10 ساعات، وتصل إلى 2000 ريال في حال طلب الزبون الحصول على ليلة كاملة، مؤكدين أنهم على استعداد لتجهيز المخيمات في المناطق البرية وجميع الشواطئ التي تسمح بها وزارة البيئة والتغيُّر المُناخي بالتخييم.
