بريطانيا تكشف عن تفاصيل جديدة حول إعفاء مواطني دول الخليج من تأشيرة الدخول

Britain has announced that citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries will be exempted from entry visas to the United Kingdom as of 2023.
According to the British Minister of the Interior, Priti Patel, the GCC countries will be among the first countries to benefit from the new visa exemption system, as the old system will be replaced with a new one, which will be called the “Electronic Travel Authorization”, and it will come into force next year.
The British Home Office excluded students who intended to study at British universities or other categories of travellers who wish to visit the UK for a longer period of time.
The ministry explained, in a statement, that the decision facilitates travel for tourism purposes and other specific visits, and they will not need to go to the British embassy to issue a visa to visit the UK.
An online travel permit will be issued before their visit to the UK early next year
The British minister points out that her country’s priorities are the security of the UK’s borders, and by launching the ETA, it can be ensured that everyone wishing to travel to the UK has permission to do so before traveling.

أعلنت بريطانيا عن إعفاء مواطني دول مجلس التعاون الخلیجي، من تأشیرة الدخول إلى المملكة المتحدة اعتباراً من 2023.
ووفق ما صرحت به وزیرة الداخلیة البریطانیة برتي باتیل ، فإن دول مجلس التعاون الخلیجي ستكون من أولیات الدول المستفیدة من النظام الجدید للاعفاء من التأشیرة حیث سیستبدل النظام القديم بآخر جدید سیطلق عليه “تصریح السفر الإلكتروني”، ويبدأ العمل به العام المقبل.
واستثنت وزارة الداخلية البريطانية الطلاب الذین یعتزمون الدراسة في الجامعات البریطانیة أو فئات أخرى من المسافرین الذین یرغبون في زیارة المملكة المتحدة لفترة أطول من القرار.
وأوضحت الوزارة، في بيان، أن القرار یسهل السفر لأغراض السیاحة وللزیارات المحددة الأخرى ولن یكون بحاجتهم الذھاب للسفارة البریطانیة لإصدار تأشیرة لزیارة المملكة المتحدة.
ويتم إصدار تصريح السفر الإلكتروني عبر الإنترنت قبل زيارتهم إلى المملكة المتحدة بداية العام المقبل.
وتشير الوزيرة البريطانية إلى أن أولويات بلادها هي أمن حدود المملكة المتحدة، ومن خلال إطلاق تصريح السفر الالكتروني ، يمكن ضمان حصول كل شخص يرغب في السفر إلى المملكة المتحدة على إذن للقيام بذلك قبل السفر.
