A real-life “Squid Game: Challenge” soon to start in Britain

Netflix has given the green light to bring the South Korean series (Squid Game) into life in which contestants from all over the world participate, provided they are proficient English speakers and without a fatal end.

Netflix decided to produce a reality TV competition inspired by the series, which will be called (Squid Game: The Challenge).

Unlike the series where it is a life or death situation, the worst fate the participants could face is leaving the challenge without receiving the 4.56 million US dollars prizes.

Netflix said in a promotional trailer for the competition that the mega prize was “the largest lump sum prize in the history of reality TV.”

The Squid Game: Challenge is scheduled to feature 456 players, and the competition will be filmed in the UK.

أعطت منصة (نتفليكس) الضوء الأخضر لتحويل مسلسل (لعبة الحبار) الكوري الجنوبي إلى واقع يشارك فيه متسابقون من دول العالم كافة شرط إجادتهم للغة الإنجليزية ودون نهاية قاتلة.

وقررت نتفليكس إنتاج مسابقة تندرج في إطار برامج تلفزيون الواقع مستوحاة من المسلسل تحمل اسم (لعبة الحبار: التحدي).

وعلى خلاف المسلسل الذي تكون فيه الرهانات على الحياة أو الموت، فإن أسوأ مصير قد يلقاه المشاركون في اللعبة هو الخروج منها دون الحصول على الجوائز التي تبلغ قيمتها 4.56 مليون دولار أمريكي.

وقالت نتفليكس في مقطع ترويجي للمسابقة إن الجائزة الضخمة المقررة هي “أكبر جائزة بمبلغ مقطوع في تاريخ برامج الواقع التلفزيونية”.

ومن المقرر أن تضم (لعبة الحبار: التحدي) 456 لاعبًا، وسيتم تصوير المسابقة في المملكة المتحدة.
