Hamad International Airport Runs Trials to Deal with High Traveler Traffic

Doha: Hamad International Airport intends to run two days of trials this Monday and Tuesday, in order to facilitate traffic to the arrival and departure gates for authorized vehicles, in preparation for the expected high movement of travelers during this year, and to ensure the maintenance of the safety and security of everybody.
The airport announced in a statement today that the first trial phase will be from 10 O’clock in the morning until noon of Monday, whereas the second trial phase will be at three O’clock in the afternoon until Tuesday six O’clock in the evening. It further explained that during the trial phases, only authorized vehicles will be allowed by the pavement of arrival and departure gates. These vehicles will include limousine cars, Taxi cabs, and the vehicles of First and Business classes on Qatar Airways.
The statement added that travelers and airport employees will be given two hours of free parking in the short-duration parking lot during the running of the trials, as well as a free-of-charge baggage handler and baggage trolleys services, for travelers to receive assistance in moving their luggage from and into the airport building. It is important to note that in case a vehicle exceeds the two free parking hours, parking fees for the extra time must be paid via the dedicated parking machines in the airport in order to avoid creating a traffic jam on parking exists.
Hamad International Airport provides travelers with a variety of transportation means options that connect the airport with the city. All airport buses, taxi cabs, metro stations, Limousine services, and rent-a-car companies are located near the arrival and departure gates. Furthermore, Hamad International Airports employees are always ready to assist and provide guidance to travelers around the clock.

الدوحة: يعتزم مطار حمد الدولي تنفيذ اختبارين تجريبيين اليوم /الاثنين/ وغد /الثلاثاء/؛ لتسهيل حركة المركبات المصرح لها بالوصول لبوابات الوصول والمغادرة خلال أوقات الذروة، وذلك في إطار استعدادات المطار للتعامل مع الزيادة المتوقعة في حركة المسافرين خلال العام الجاري، وضمان الحفاظ على أمن وسلامة الجميع.
وأعلن مطار حمد، في بيان له اليوم، أن الفترة التجريبية الأولى ستكون من الساعة العاشرة صباحًا حتى الثانية عشرة ظهر غد /الاثنين/، بينما ستكون الفترة التجريبية الثانية من الساعة الثالثة عصرًا حتى السادسة مساء بعد غد /الثلاثاء/، مشيرًا إلى أنه خلال الفترتين سيكون مسموحًا للمركبات المصرح لها فقط الوصول للأرصفة المواجهة لبوابات الوصول والمغادرة، وهي سيارات الليموزين وسيارات الأجرة (مواصلات)، وسيارات مسافري الدرجة الأولى ودرجة رجال الأعمال على الخطوط الجوية القطرية.
وأضاف البيان أنه سيتم السماح للمسافرين والعملاء بساعتين مجانًا في مواقف السيارات قصيرة الأمد خلال الفترتين التجريبيتين، كما سيوفر المطار عربات الحقائب وخدمة الحمالين مجانًا في المواقف لمساعدة المسافرين المغادرين في نقل أمتعتهم إلى مبنى المسافرين، وعند إنزال المسافرين واستقبالهم، وسوف يتعين أيضًا استخدام مواقف السيارات قصيرة الأمد في المطار، وفي حال تجاوز المسافرون والعملاء فترة الساعتين المسموح بها، يتم دفع الرسوم عبر الأجهزة الموجودة داخل مبنى المسافرين لتجنب التأخير.
ويوفر مطار حمد الدولي للمسافرين مجموعة متنوعة من خيارات ووسائل المواصلات التي تربط بين المطار والمدينة، حيث تقع جميع مواقف حافلات المطار وسيارات الأجرة ومحطة المترو ومكاتب استئجار السيارات وخدمات الليموزين على مسافة قريبة من بوابات الوصول والمغادرة، وسيكون موظفو مطار حمد الدولي جاهزين دومًا لتقديم المساعدة للمسافرين على مدار الساعة.
