Doha: A formation of the latest Satellite images shows dust mass approaching; expected to affect Qatar by late-night dust mass at the Northeastern of the Arabian Peninsula may result in low visibility in Qatar, according to a weather update by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).
The latest satellite images show the dust mass approaching and it’s expected to affect the country by late-night causing dusty weather and reducing the visibility to less than 2 KM and zero at times.
Last week, Qatar experienced low visibility due to heavy dust which blanketed the country. Horizontal visibility was as low as zero in certain parts of the country.
Due to this weather condition, QMD urged all citizens and residents to take precautions.

الدوحة: وفقاً لتحديثات الطقس من قبل إدارة الأرصاد الجوية القطرية، يُظهر تشكيل لأحدث صور الأقمار الصناعية اقتراب كتلة الغبار؛ والتي من المتوقع أن تؤثر في وقت متأخر من الليل على قطر في شمال شرق شبه الجزيرة العربية، مما قد يؤدي إلى ضعف الرؤية في قطر.
وتُظهر أحدث صور الأقمار الصناعية اقتراب كتلة الغبار ومن المتوقع أن تؤثر على البلاد في وقت متأخر من الليل مسببة طقساً مغبراً وضعف في الرؤية إلى أقل من 2 كم وصفر في بعض الأحيان.
وشهدت قطر، في الأسبوع الماضي، حالة تدني في الرؤية بسبب الغبار الكثيف الذي غطى البلاد. حيث كانت الرؤية الأفقية منخفضة تصل إلى الصفر في أجزاء معينة من البلاد خلال تلك الفترة. وبسبب هذه الظروف الجوية، حثت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية القطرية جميع المواطنين والمقيمين على اتخاذ الاحتياطات اللازمة.
