Precautionary measures taken to combat Covid are still in place: Cabinet

Doha: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet’s regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.

Following the meeting, HE Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti issued the following statement: At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet extended its highest congratulations and blessings to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on the occasion of the approaching Eid Al-Fitr, asking Allah Almighty on this occasion good health and happiness for His Highness, for Qatar and its people more splendor, goodness, development and prosperity under the wise leadership of HH the Amir, as well as security, peace and stability for Arab and Islamic nations.

Then, the Cabinet listened to the explanation given by HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari on the latest developments to limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Cabinet affirmed the continuation of the precautionary measures that have been taken to combat the pandemic.

After that, the Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows: First – Approval of a draft Cabinet decision amending some provisions of Decision No. 11 of 2020 on reorganizing the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.

Second – Approval of a draft decision of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry to establish the Unified Economic Register Department in the Commercial Registration and Licensing Department.

Third – Approval of a draft agreement for cooperation in the legal field between the Ministry of Justice in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Justice and Public Security in the Republic of El Salvador.

Fourth – The Cabinet reviewed the draft Amiri decisions in the organizational structures of the ministries and took the appropriate decision in that regard.

الدوحة: ترأس معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، الاجتماع العادي الذي عقده المجلس يوم أمس بمقره في الديوان الأميري.

وعقب الاجتماع أدلى سعادة السيد محمد بن عبدالله السليطي، وزير الدولة لشؤون مجلس الوزراء بما يلي: في بداية الاجتماع رفع مجلس الوزراء أسمى آيات التهاني والتبريكات إلى مقام حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى “حفظه الله” بمناسبة قرب حلول عيد الفطر المبارك، سائلا الله العلي القدير أن يعيده على سموه بموفور الصحة والسعادة، وعلى بلادنا العزيزة وشعبها الكريم والمقيمين على أرضها بمزيد من الخير والرخاء والنماء في ظل قيادة سموه الحكيمة، وعلى الأمتين العربية والإسلامية بالأمن والسلام والاستقرار.

ثم استمع مجلس الوزراء إلى الشرح الذي قدمته سعادة الدكتورة حنان بنت محمد الكواري، وزير الصحة العامة، حول آخر المستجدات والتطورات للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا (كوفيد – 19)، وأكد المجلس على استمرار العمل بما تم اتخاذه من إجراءات وتدابير احترازية في سبيل مكافحة هذا الوباء.

وبعد ذلك نظر مجلس الوزراء في الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال على النحو التالي:

أولا- الموافقة على مشروع قرار مجلس الوزراء بتعديل بعض أحكام القرار رقم (11) لسنة 2020 بإعادة تنظيم اللجنة الوطنية القطرية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم.

ثانيا- الموافقة على مشروع قرار وزير التجارة والصناعة بإنشاء قسم السجل الاقتصادي الموحد بإدارة التسجيل والتراخيص التجارية.

ثالثا- الموافقة على مشروع اتفاقية للتعاون في المجال القانوني بين وزارة العدل في دولة قطر ووزارة العدل والأمن العام في جمهورية السلفادور.

رابعا- استعرض مجلس الوزراء مشروعات القرارات الأميرية بالهياكل التنظيمية للوزارات، واتخذ بشأنها القرار المناسب.
