Doha: With the Eid Al-Fitr holiday approaching, families are increasingly looking for chalets, resorts, and hotels, as they are the preferred destination and outlet for those wishing to spend the Eid holiday.
However, its ridiculous prices created a state of resentment among a number of citizens, many tweeted about the high prices for chalets and hotels, especially since spending two days costs more than 20 thousand QR, and it goes on beyond that, spending the 3 nights of Eid may cost 28 thousand QR.
A number of citizens confirmed to Al-Sharq that these exaggerated prices may lead to the reluctance of some families to spend the Eid vacation in Qatar.
They pointed out that the cost of spending a two-day vacation inside Qatar is equivalent to the prices of round trip airline tickets with a stay in a five-star resort for several days.

الدوحة: مع حلول عيد الفطر المبارك، يزداد إقبال الأسر والعائلات على الشاليهات والمنتجعات والفنادق المطلة على البحر، باعتبارها الوجهة المفضلة والمتنفس للراغبين في قضاء عطلة العيد، إلا ان اسعارها الخيالية خلقت حالة من الاستياء لدى عدد من المواطنين عبر موقع التواصل الاجتماعي تويتر، من ارتفاع أسعار الشاليهات السياحية والفندقية، خاصة وان قضاء يومين يكلف اكثر من 20 ألف ريال، ويتجاوز الامر ان سعر 3 ليالي العيد قد يكلف 28 ألف ريال.
وأكد عدد من المواطنين لـ الشرق أن هذه الأسعار المبالغ فيها قد تؤدي إلى عزوف بعض العائلات عن قضاء إجازة العيد على أرض الوطن بدلا من السفر للخارج، حيث ان تكلفة قضاء اجازة يومين داخل قطر يعادل اسعار تذاكر الطيران ذهابا وإيابا مع الإقامة في أحد المنتجعات ذات الخمس نجوم لعدة أيام.
