Discover Qatar adds Visa on Arrival hotel booking link again on website

Doha: Discover Qatar has added the Visa on Arrival hotel option on their website, opening bookings from today. The site provides a link to the Ministry of Interior saying “For more information on the Visa on Arrival requirement please visit the Ministry of Interior website.”
The MoI link, provided on the Discover Qatar website, lists the visa requirements for different nationalities and the type of visas available for each. Depending on nationality and country of residence the requirements differ.
Discover Qatar had earlier added a separate booking option for visa on arrival for Indian, Pakistani and Iranian nationals, which was later suspended and the link was removed from their website.
When The Peninsula called the helpline and asked if it is mandatory to book through this website, the customer service said that if the Ehteraz is asking for it then the person will have to book through their website.
Travel agents said that some people who tried to register through ehteraz received messages asking them to book through the website.

يسرد رابط وزارة الداخلية، الموجود على موقع اكتشف قطر، متطلبات التأشيرة لمختلف الجنسيات ونوع التأشيرات المتاحة لكل منها، وتختلف المتطلبات حسب الجنسية وبلد الإقامة.
أضاف موقع اكتشف قطر في وقت سابق خيار حجز منفصل للتأشيرة عند الوصول لمواطني الهند وباكستان وإيران، والذي تم تعليقه لاحقًا وإزالة الرابط.
اتصلت ذا بنينسولا بخط المساعدة وسألت عما إذا كان الحجز إلزاميًا من خلال هذا الموقع، وكان رد خدمة العملاء أنه إذا وجدتم طلب الحجز على تطبيق احتراز، فسيتعين عليكم الحجز من خلال الموقع.
قال وكلاء سفر إن بعض الأشخاص الذين حاولوا التسجيل عبر احتراز تلقوا رسائل تطلب منهم الحجز عبر الموقع.
