Sheikha Moza Visits First, Second Assalam Schools

Doha: HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, visited on Tuesday the First and Second Assalam School in the country.
The visit included an inspection tour of the classrooms and the various facilities of the two schools, such as the library, activity halls, and technical and manual skills. Her Highness also met with students, faculty and administrators of the two schools.
The two schools are among five schools established by the Education Above All Foundation in 2017 within the Together Project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and a number of partners within the country, with the aim of providing quality education and training for about 1,900 children and youth who were deprived of formal education opportunities for various reasons such as wars, conflicts and economic stumbling.

الدوحة: قامت صاحبة السمو الشيخة موزا بنت ناصر رئيس مجلس إدارة مؤسسة التعليم فوق الجميع صباح الأمس، بزيارة لمدرستي السلم الأولى والثانية في الدولة.
شملت الزيارة جولة تفقدية على الصفوف الدراسية والمرافق المختلفة للمدرستين كالمكتبة وقاعات الأنشطة والمهارات الفنية واليدوية، كما التقت سموها بالطلاب وهيئة التدريس والقائمين على المدرستين.
والمدرستان من خمس مدارس أسستها مؤسسة التعليم فوق الجميع عام 2017 ضمن مشروع سويا بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي وعدد من الشركاء داخل الدولة بهدف توفير التعليم الجيد والتدريب لحوالي 1900 طفل وشاب حرموا من فرص التعليم النظامي لأسباب مختلفة كالحروب والنزاعات والتعثر الاقتصادي.
