Ratil w Arsil (recite and send) Holy Quran Contest Launched with a total prize pool of more than QR 50,000

Doha: The organizing committee of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Contest at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs launched yesterday the first phase of Ratil w Arsil (recite and send) contest via the application (WhatsApp)/ in its third edition which is allocated for children from 6 to 12 years old.

The committee explained that the Recite and Send contest, one of the branches of the Sheikh Jassim Quranic competition, for boys and girls including citizens and residents, comes from the Sheikh Jassim competitions belief in the importance of benefiting from modern technology and social media in order to serve the teaching of the Book of God and open broad horizons for broad participations from the public via WhatsApp.

It said that participations take place by recording a video clip of a Quranic recitation of no more than 60 seconds and no less than 45 seconds, and sending it via phone (55592080), noting that the period for receiving entries is from (4:00) in the afternoon until (9:00) ) evening.

The competition includes two phases; the first phase from 2-6 Ramadan this year, during which 100 participants from citizens and a similar number from residents are selected, while the second and final phase starts from 10 to 13 of the same month, in which the qualifiers are asked to send a new video clip according to the required conditions This stage is devoted to arranging the positions among the winners, and the final result is calculated by the average score of the two stages.

The competition requires that the participant shall be Qatari or a resident in the State of Qatar, and the age of the contestant shall not be less than (6) years and not more than (12) years, with the verses chosen by the contestant.

The committee clarified that participation takes place in a video clip containing personal data (the contestants name, age, phone number, and nationality, in addition to the verses being recited), with adherence to the participation period, which is limited to only one video clip devoid of sound effects, with females not being obligated to open the camera during participation.

According to the competition schedule, the winners will be announced on Ramadan 18, corresponding to April 19. The committee allocated to the first place holder (3000) riyals, the second (2500) riyals, the third (2000) riyals, the fourth (1500) riyals, and the fifth (1,000) while the rest of the applicants from (6) to (100) will receive 500 riyals.

الدوحة: أطلقت اللجنة المنظمة لمسابقة الشيخ جاسم بن محمد بن ثاني للقرآن الكريم بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، يوم أمس، المرحلة الأولى من مسابقة “رتل وارسل” عبر تطبيق/ واتس اب/ في نسختها الثالثة والمخصصة للبراعم من عمر 6 إلى 12 سنة.

وأوضحت اللجنة أن مسابقة /رتل وارسل/، أحد فروع مسابقة الشيخ جاسم القرآنية، للبنين والبنات من المواطنين والمقيمين، يأتي إيماناً من مسابقة الشيخ جاسم بأهمية الاستفادة من التقنية الحديثة ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بما يخدم تعليم كتاب الله وفتح آفاق رحبة لمشاركات واسعة من الجمهور، لتكون المشاركة به عبر تطبيق /واتس اب/.

وأفادت أن المشاركة تتم من خلال تسجيل مقطع فيديو لتلاوة قرآنية لا تتجاوز مدته 60 ثانية ولا تقل عن 45 ثانية، وإرساله عبر الهاتف (55592080) .. مشيرة إلى أن فترة استقبال المشاركات من الساعة (4:00) عصراً وحتى الساعة (9:00) مساءً.

وتشتمل المسابقة على مرحلتين المرحلة الأولى من 2- 6 رمضان الجاري وخلالها يتم اختيار عدد (100) مشارك من المواطنين ومثلهم من المقيمين.. فيما تبدأ المرحلة الثانية والأخيرة من 10 إلى 13 من الشهر ذاته، وتتم فيها مطالبة المتأهلين بإرسال مقطع فيديو جديد حسب الشروط المعتمدة، وتخصص هذه المرحلة لترتيب المراكز بين الفائزين، وتحتسب النتيجة النهائية بمتوسط درجة المرحلتين.

وتشترط المسابقة أن يكون المشارك قطرياً أو مقيماً في دولة قطر، وألا يقل عمر المتسابق عن (6) سنوات ولا يزيد عن (12) سنة، ويتم اختيار الآيات من قبل المتسابق.

وأوضحت اللجنة أن المشاركة تتم بمقطع فيديو يحتوي على البيانات الشخصية (اسم المتسابق والعمر ورقم الهاتف والجنسية بالإضافة إلى الآيات المتلوة)، مع الالتزام بمدة المشاركة التي تقتصر على مقطع فيديو واحد فقط خال من المؤثرات الصوتية، مع عدم إلزام الإناث بفتح الكاميرا أثناء المشاركة.

وحسب الجدول الزمني للمسابقة، سيتم الإعلان عن الفائزين يوم 18 رمضان الموافق 19 أبريل الجاري، حيث خصصت اللجنة لصاحب المركز الأول (3000) ريال، والثاني (2500) ريال، والثالث (2000) ريال، والرابع (1500) ريال، والخامس (1000) ريال، بينما يحصل بقية المتأهلين من (6) وحتى الـ (100) على 500 ريال.
