Kids under 5-year age allowed in Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Nabawi

MAKKAH: The Saudi government has allowed children under the age of five to accompany their parents and relatives to the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi (PBUH) after the relaxation of Corona SOPs.
According to Saudi media, the ban on permits for prayers in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi (PBUH) has now been lifted.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that Umrah permits and prayer permits in Riyadh Al-Jannat Mosque will be issued to children of at least five years.
In addition, after the lifting of the Corona ban, the first Friday prayers were offered in the Masjid al-Haram in which the worshipers participated without any social distance.
Earlier, thousands of faithful attended the Friday prayers at the Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid-i-Nabawi (PBUH), after the Saudi government decision to lift all Covid-related restrictions.
According to Saudi media, thousands of Muslims attended the Friday prayers at the Masjid al-Haram following authorities withdrew curbs regarding the Covid vaccination, social distancing and other measures.
The Mataf that is open white area immediately around the Kaaba where Tawaf is taken place, was remained packed with worshipers as special prayers were offered during the Friday prayers.
The Saudi authorities had also allowed the visitors to witness the Maqam-e-Ibrahim.
It is to be mentioned here that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had withdrew the requirement to be vaccinated against Covid with the view to obtain Umrah Permits for local pilgrims having aged 5 and above.
According to local media reports, the only requirement will be not to be infected with Covid or suspected close contact with a person who has tested positive for the deadly virus.

أعلن وكيل وزارة الحج والعمرة المساعد لخدمات الحجاج والمعتمرين المتحدث باسم الوزارة المهندس هشام بن عبدالمنعم بن سعيد، أن الحد الأدنى للأطفال لإصدار تصاريح العمرة في الحرم المكي والصلاة في الروضة الشريفة بالمسجد النبوي هو 5 سنوات وذلك للتنظيم وفق الطاقة الاستيعابية.
وكشف لوسائل إعلام سعودية، أنه وبعد إلغاء التصاريح الخاصة بدخول ضيوف الرحمن إلى المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي لأداء الصلاة، فيسمح لجميع الأطفال المرافقين لذويهم بدخول الحرمين الشريفين، وذلك لأنه تم إلغاء التصاريح الخاصة بأداء الصلاة فيهما.
وحول ضرورة تطبيقي «اعتمرنا» و«توكلنا» في المرحلة الحالية خصوصا بعد رفع الإجراءات الاحترازية وإلغاء عدد من التصاريح وإلغاء التحقق من الحالة الصحية، قال المهندس هشام بن سعيد إن للتطبيقين ضرورة تنظيمية في عملية تحسين تجربة ضيوف الرحمن الرقمية، والتحكم في الأفواج، وإتاحة الخيار لضيوف الرحمن عند التخطيط والحجز المسبق لأداء العمرة، ومعرفة مدى الطاقة الاستيعابية والكثافة العددية وفق الألوان في التطبيقين.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام سعودية، أنه بات بإمكان غير المحصّنين الذين لم يتلقوا اللقاحات المضادة لفايروس كورونا المستجد «كوفيد-19» أو الذين لم يستكملوا التحصين، أداء العمرة ودخول المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي لجميع ضيوف الرحمن، وسيُسمح لضيوف الرحمن بأداء العمرة والصلاة في الحرمين الشريفين، بشرط عدم إصابتهم بـ«كورونا» أو مخالطتهم لأشخاص ثبتت إصابتهم بالفايروس.
وفي ما يخص المعتمرين القادمين من خارج المملكة، أعلنت وزارة الحج والعمرة أنه لن يتم إخضاعهم للحجر الصحي المؤسسي لضيوف الرحمن القادمين من الخارج، كما أنه لا يشترط عليهم تسجيل بيانات التحصين للحصول على تصريح العمرة.
