Unregulated rental rates for villas and vacation homes

Doha: A number of citizens called on the concerned authorities to organize the work of renting the villas and vacation homes scattered throughout the country, and stressed that the customers are facing a number of problems:

1. The owners claim a non-refundable deposit in the event of cancellation ranging from 500 to 1000 QR.

2. Unjustified rise in rental rates ranging from 2,000 QR to 5,000 QR per night.

3. Those responsible for the digital platforms are ignoring the clarification of rental rates per night, despite the announcement by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry that all those who conduct commercial activities in the country must be obligated to record data and prices of goods and services clearly and prominently in the Arabic language.

الدَّوحة: دَعَا عددٌ من المُواطنين الجهاتِ المعنيَّةَ إلى تنظيم عمل تأجيرالاستراحات المُنتشرة في البلاد، وأكدوا أن زبائن تلك الاستراحات يواجهون عددًا من المشاكل:

١. مطالبة الملاك بعربون غير مُسترد في حال الإلغاء يتراوح من 500 إلى 1000 ريال

٢.الارتفاع غير المبرَّر لأسعار تأجير الاستراحات التي تتراوح من 2000 ريال وتصل إلى 5000 ريال في الليلة الواحدة

٣. تجاهُل المسؤولين عن المنصات الرقمية التابعة لها توضيح أسعار إيجار الليلة، رغم إعلان وزارة التجارة والصناعة عن وجوب التزام جميع من يزاولون الأنشطة التجاريَّة في الدولة، بتدوين بيانات وأسعار السلع والخدمات بشكل واضح وبارز باللغة العربيَّة.
