MOCI, Qatar Charity Partner to Support Productive Families

Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and Qatar Charity signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the “weekly market” project to support the products of productive families and create a marketing environment for them.
The agreement was signed by the MOCI Director of Business Development and Investment Promotion Department Hamad Mohammed Al Abdan and Assistant CEO of Programs and Community Development Sector at Qatar Charity Faisal bin Rashid Al Fahida.
Under the agreement, the two parties agreed to establish a “weekly market” where the ministry will provide spaces and pavilions without charge for the productive families to sell their products, giving them the opportunity to display their products and create a marketing environment that contributes to increasing economic income. Qatar Charity is the strategic partner for the project.
The agreement also includes other obligations that fall on the two parties in the framework of supporting and promoting the project to achieve the desired goals.
This cooperation comes within the framework of MOCI’s commitment to strengthening the community partnership with various state institutions, supporting and motivating owners of small and medium enterprises and productive families, and helping them to benefit from their productive capabilities to invest in their projects, which constitutes an impetus to expand and develop their projects and contribute to supporting and strengthening the local economy and its diversification.
The cooperation also comes in line with Qatar Charity’s orientations aimed at contributing to the development of society in various social, economic, and cultural aspects, raising the capabilities of its members, providing training and work opportunities for productive Qatari families, and cooperating with all relevant authorities.

الدوحة: وقعت وزارة التجارة والصناعة وقطر الخيرية اتفاقية تعاون بشأن تنفيذ مشروع “السوق الأسبوعي” بهدف دعم منتجات الأسر المنتجة وإيجاد بيئة تسويقية لها.
وقع الاتفاقية كل من السيد حمد بن محمد العبدان مدير إدارة تنمية الأعمال وترويج الاستثمار بوزارة التجارة والصناعة، والسيد فيصل بن راشد الفهيدة مساعد الرئيس التنفيذي لقطاع البرامج وتنمية المجتمع بقطر الخيرية.
واتفق الطرفان بموجب الاتفاقية على إقامة “سوق أسبوعي” بحيث ستعمل الوزارة على توفير مساحات وأجنحة للبيع للمنتفعين من الأسر المنتجة دون مقابل، مما يتيح لهم الفرصة لعرض منتجاتهم وإيجاد بيئة تسويقية لهم تسهم في زيادة الدخل الاقتصادي.. بينما تُمثل قطر الخيرية الشريك الاستراتيجي للمشروع.
كما يتضمن الاتفاق التزامات أخرى تقع على عاتق الطرفين في إطار دعم المشروع والترويج له بما يحقق الأهداف المرجوة منه.
ويأتي هذا التعاون في إطار التزام وزارة التجارة والصناعة بتعزيز الشراكة المجتمعية مع مختلف مؤسسات الدولة، ودعم وتحفيز أصحاب المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة والأسر المنتجة ومساعدتهم في استغلال قدراتهم الإنتاجية الكامنة للاستثمار في المشروعات الخاصة بهم، الأمر الذي يشكل دافعا للتوسع وتنمية مشاريعهم والمساهمة في دعم وتعزيز الاقتصاد المحلي وتنوعه.
كما يأتي التعاون انسجاما مع توجهات قطر الخيرية الرامية إلى الإسهام في تنمية المجتمع في مختلف الجوانب الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية، ورفع قدرات أفراده وتطوير إمكاناتهم، وتوفير فرص تدريب وعمل للأسر القطرية المنتجة والتعاون مع كافة الجهات ذات العلاقة.
