Nakilat Records Highest Profit since Inception

Doha: Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat), its subsidiaries and associates, today announced its financial results for the year ended Dec. 31, 2021 reporting a consolidated net profit of QR 1,354 million, an increase of 16.7%, as compared to QR 1,161 million for the same period in 2020.
The company said in a statement that the profit recorded is its highest since inception, noting that the Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.24 as of Dec. 31, 2021 versus Earnings per share (EPS) of QR 0.21 for the same period in 2020. The revenue reached QR 4,142 million, and increase by 3.1%.
For this period, the Board recommends a cash dividend at QAR 0.12 per share.
In statements, HE Chairman of Nakilats Board of Directors Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada said: “Despite the unique challenges faced by the company, we continued to build on our operational response to the pandemic, enabling us to adapt swiftly and ensure business continuity to create value for our shareholders and customers.”
“Looking ahead, Nakilats Board of Directors remains committed to upholding and implementing the highest standards of corporate governance as well as robust risk management, business continuity preparedness, and various internal measures throughout the organization towards supporting sustainable business growth, uphold our employees wellbeing and reinforcing investors confidence in the company,” HE Al Sada added.

الدوحة: حققت شركة قطر لنقل الغاز المحدودة /ناقلات/، وشركاتها التابعة، صافي ربح قياسي خلال العام 2021 بلغ مليارا و354 مليون ريال، بزيادة نسبتها 16.7 بالمئة، مقارنة مع العام 2020، الذي حققت فيه صافي ربح بلغ مليارا و161 مليون ريال.
وقالت الشركة، في بيان، إن هذا هو أعلى صافي ربح تحققه منذ تأسيسها، مشيرة إلى أن ربحية السهم بلغت 0.24 ريال قطري، مقابل 0.21 ريال للعام 2020، كما بلغت قيمة الإيرادات 4 مليارات و142 مليون ريال.
وأوصى مجلس إدارة /ناقلات/، شركة مساهمة عامة قطرية، الجمعية العمومية العادية، المزمع عقدها يوم 28 فبراير الجاري، بتوزيع أرباح نقدية على المساهمين بقيمة 0.12 ريال لكل سهم.
وفي سياق متصل، قال سعادة الدكتور محمد بن صالح السادة، رئيس مجلس إدارة /ناقلات/، في تصريحات، إنه بالرغم من التحديات الاستثنائية التي واجهتها الشركة، إلا أنها واصلت البناء على الإنجازات التي تم تحقيقها خلال جائحة /كوفيد-19/ من خلال التكيف السريع في أعمال التشغيل مع الأوضاع المستجدة، وضمان استمرارية الأعمال لتحقيق القيمة المنشودة في جميع أعمالها لتحقيق أهدافها الاستراتيجية.
وأضاف أن مجلس الإدارة يظل ملتزما بتطبيق أعلى معايير حوكمة الشركات، وتبني نهج قوي لإدارة المخاطر وتعزيز الجاهزية، لضمان استمرارية الأعمال، إلى جانب تنفيذ جملة من التدابير الداخلية على مستوى الشركة ومشروعاتها المشتركة لدعم أهداف النمو المستدام لأعمال الشركة.
