Qatar to begin in-person classes from Sunday; weekly antigen test must

Doha: Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that it will adopt the system of in-person classes at school, for students in all public and private schools and kindergartens, at 100% of their capacity, with continued commitment to applying all precautionary and preventive measures, starting from Sunday, January 30, 2022.
This is in consultation with the Ministry of Public Health, and after evaluating the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, and in the interest of students and their academic future.
It has also decided the following:
All students of public and private schools and kindergartens at all academic levels must take a rapid antigen test at home weekly, to allow them to enter the school building, provided that the examination is carried out within 48 hours before returning to school, at maximum.
The rapid antigen test will be performed at home, and the result of the examination brought with the student to the public or private school, through the acknowledgment form signed by the guardian that the home examination is carried out during the weekend, on Friday and Saturday of each week, (can be obtained from On the home examination acknowledgment form through the website of public and private schools and kindergartens).
In the event that the result of the home examination is positive, please visit the nearest health center with the student and the sample, to confirm the result of the examination.
Rapid antigen testing devices will be provided to public school students only through their affiliated schools, and the guardian can visit the school to receive it starting on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
The Ministry affirmed its keenness and commitment to the continuation of the educational process in a manner that suits all circumstances, with emphasis on the application of precautionary measures for students and educational and administrative staff in accordance with the protocol approved by the Ministry of Public Health, especially the commitment to wearing masks, achieving physical distancing and good ventilation in classrooms and administrative offices.
The ministry also called on parents and students to adhere to the precautionary measures to preserve their health, and in a way that contributes to the continuation of the educational process on a regular basis.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي، أنها ستعتمد نظام الحضور الشخصي في المدارس، للطلاب في جميع المدارس الحكومية والخاصة ورياض الأطفال بنسبة 100٪، مع استمرار الالتزام بتطبيق كافة الإجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية، اعتبارا من يوم الأحد الموافق 30 يناير 2022. وذلك بالتشاور مع وزارة الصحة العامة، وبعد تقييم الوضع الحالي لوباء كوفيد-19، ولمصلحة الطلاب ومستقبلهم الأكاديمي.
كما قررت ما يلي:
يجب على جميع طلاب المدارس الحكومية والخاصة ورياض الأطفال على جميع المستويات الأكاديمية إجراء اختبار مستضدات سريع في المنزل أسبوعيا، للسماح لهم بدخول مبنى المدرسة، على أن يتم الفحص في غضون 48 ساعة قبل العودة إلى المدرسة، كحد أقصى.
يتم إجراء اختبار المستضدات السريع في المنزل، ويتم احضار نتيجة الفحص إلى المدرسة العامة أو الخاصة، من خلال استمارة الإقرار الموقعة من ولي الأمر بأن الفحص المنزلي تم خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع، يومي الجمعة والسبت من كل أسبوع، (يمكن الحصول على نموذج إقرار الفحص المنزلي من خلال الموقع الإلكتروني للمدارس ورياض الأطفال العامة والخاصة).
في حال كانت نتيجة الفحص المنزلي إيجابية، يرجى زيارة أقرب مركز صحي للتأكد من نتيجة الفحص.
سيتم توفير أجهزة اختبار مستضدات سريع لطلاب المدارس الحكومية فقط من خلال المدارس التابعة لهم، ويمكن لأولياء الأمور زيارة المدرسة لاستلامها ابتداء من يوم الخميس 27 يناير 2022.
وأكدت الوزارة حرصها والتزامها بمواصلة العملية التعليمية بما يتناسب مع كافة الظروف، مع التأكيد على تطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية للطلاب والعاملين التعليميين والإداريين وفقا للبروتوكول المعتمد من وزارة الصحة العامة، خاصة الالتزام بارتداء الكمامات، وتطبيق التباعد الاجتماعي والتهوية الجيدة في الفصول الدراسية والمناصب الإدارية.
كما دعت الوزارة أولياء الأمور والطلاب إلى الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية للحفاظ على صحتهم، وبطريقة تسهم في استمرار العملية التعليمية بشكل منتظم.
