MOI Extends Time Limit to Rectify Status of Violating Expatriates

Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced the expansion of the time limit to correct the illegal conditions of expatriates, who violate the provisions of Law No. (21) of 2015 regulating the entry, exit and residence of expatriates, to March 31.

In a statement, the ministry said that this procedure comes within the framework of its keenness to take into account the interests of company owners and expatriate workers to benefit from the 50 percent reduction in the amount of reconciliation in violations, accordingly, every violating expatriate or violating applicant must, during the period specified above, submit a request for reconciliation regarding violations of the aforementioned law to the Search and Follow-up Department or to any of the following service centers that receive requests to transfer from one applicant to another (Umm Salal, Al Rayyan, Mesaimeer, Al Wakra, and Umm Sanim), or any of the following service centers that accept reconciliation applications and the issuance and renewal of the Residence Permit (RP) by the same employer (Al Shamal, Al Khor, Al Daayen, Umm Salal, Al Lulu, Unaizah, Souq Waqif, Al Rayyan, Umm Sanim, Al Sheehaniya, Mesaimeer, Al Wakra, and Dukhan).

The ministry called on all categories benefiting from correcting their status, which are expatriates who violate the residence permit (companies) and the expatriates violating work permits, to visit the aforementioned department or centers, during the aforementioned period from 1- 6 PM.

MOI called on the recruits or expatriates to adhere to the specified period, to benefit from the reconciliation to correct their situation to avoid applying legal procedures against them if their situation is not corrected.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الداخلية عن تمديد الفترة الزمنية لتصحيح الأوضاع غير القانونية للوافدين المخالفين لأحكام القانون رقم (21) لسنة 2015 بتنظيم دخول وخروج الوافدين وإقامتهم، لتنتهي بتاريخ 31 مارس المقبل.

وذكرت الوزارة في بيان أن هذا الإجراء يأتي في إطار حرصها على مراعاة مصالح أصحاب الشركات والعمالة الوافدة للاستفادة من تخفيض مبلغ التصالح في المخالفات بقيمة 50 بالمئة وبناء على ذلك، فإنه يتعين على كل وافد مخالف أو مستقدم مخالف، خلال الفترة المحددة أعلاه، تقديم طلب التصالح بشأن مخالفات القانون المشار إليه إلى إدارة البحث والمتابعة أو إلى أحد المراكز الخدمية التالية والتي تستقبل طلبات الانتقال من مستقدم إلى مستقدم آخر(أم صلال، والريان، ومسيمير، والوكرة، وأم سنيم) أو التوجه إلى أحد المراكز الخدمية التالية والتي تستقبل طلبات التصالح وإصدار وتجديد الإقامة على نفس المستقدم (الشمال، والخور، والظعاين، وأم صلال، واللؤلؤة، وعنيزة، وسوق واقف، والريان، وأم سنيم، والشيحانية، ومسيمير، والوكرة، ودخان).

ودعت الوزارة الفئات المستفيدة من تصحيح أوضاعها /وهم الوافدون المخالفون للإقامة (شركات)، والوافدون المخالفون لسمات العمل/ بمراجعة الإدارة أو المراكز المذكورة، خلال الفترة المشار إليها، من الساعة الواحدة ظهرا إلى الساعة السادسة مساء.

وأهابت وزارة الداخلية بالمستقدمين أو الوافدين، التقيد بالفترة المحددة، للاستفادة من التصالح لتصحيح أوضاعهم، وتفاديا لتطبيق الإجراءات القانونية بحقهم في حال عدم تصحيح أوضاعهم.
