MOI arrests man for slashing tires of parked vehicles

Doha: The Criminal Investigation Department nabbed an individual for slashing tires in several parked vehicles in a Qatar neighborhood. 

The investigation department said that the person has been arrested for damaging the tires of a number of cars in the Muaither area. It further said that the man has been referred to the public prosecution and legal action will be taken against him. 

This came to light when a video of several parked cars with their tires destroyed using a sharp object, was shared on social media on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Later on, CCTV footage showed an unknown person slashing the tires of several cars at night in the neighbourhood.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الداخلية عن قيام إدارة البحث الجنائي بالإدارة العامة للمباحث الجنائية بالقبض على الشخص الذي قام بإتلاف إطارات عدد من السيارات في منطقة معيذر.

وأوضحت الوزارة، عبر حسابها الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «تويتر»، أنه جار إحالة الشخص المقبوض عليه إلى النيابة العامة واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضده.
