A Citizen demands free health insurance for the most disadvantaged social groups

A citizen, called on the Ministry of Public Health to bring back health insurance to the most disadvantaged social groups, especially divorced women, widows, people with special needs, and orphans.
“These groups are not necessarily employees and should be given priority in accessing health insurance services, given the difficulty of receiving help from public hospitals and the high prices of private hospitals,” she said on Qatar Radio
In accordance with the Health Care Services Regulation Act, health-care services are provided to citizens in government health facilities free of charge, and a decision by the Council of Ministers, based on a proposal by the Minister, may specify a category or categories for which health care services are provided in government health facilities free of charge.

طالبت مواطنة ، وزارة الصحة العامة، بعودة التأمين الصحي للفئات الاجتماعية الأكثر احتياجاً، وبخاصة المطلقات والأرامل وذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة والأيتام.
وقالت المواطنة – عبر إذاعة قطر – إن هذه الفئات ليسوا بالضرورة من الموظفين، ويجب أن تكون لهم أولوية في الحصول على خدمات التأمين الصحي، في ظل صعوبة مراجعة المستشفيات العامة وارتفاع أسعار المستشفيات الخاصة .
ووفق قانون تنظيم خدمات الرعاية الصحية، تقدم خدمات الرعاية الصحية للمواطنين في المنشآت الصحية الحكومية دون مقابل.
ويجوز بقرار من مجلس الوزراء، بناءً على اقتراح الوزير، تحديد فئة أو فئات تقدم لها خدمات الرعاية الصحية في المنشآت الصحية الحكومية دون مقابل.
