Ministry of Endowments Launches Arabic Learning Website

Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs inaugurated the “Takalam” website for teaching Arabic for Non-Arabic speakers, via the Islamic website “Islamweb” affiliated to the Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, with the support of the General Directorate of Endowments.
In remarks he gave during a press conference to announce the launch of the site, Director General of the General Directorate of Endowments Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Ghanem Al-Thani said the “Takalam” website will be a global platform to facilitate learning the Arabic language in different ways.
He added that the new website will join the platforms and websites of the Islamic Network, pointing out that the Islamic Network is a multi-service website and portals that benefit the public throughout the year, as it provides consultations and fatwas in several languages.
For his part, Director of the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Mal Allah Al-Jaber said that the “Takalam” website for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, through the Islamweb website, comes as a continuation of the role of the Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance in spreading knowledge and goodness to the largest number of people. In the easiest and best way, to serve the language of the Quran.
Al-Jaber added that the site will include electronic content in which interested people and the users will find their target with high accuracy, an easy and accessible style, and a rich and extensive archive.
He pointed out that the site was designed under the supervision of experts to be a qualitative leap in teaching Arabic, enabling the user to master various skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing in an enjoyable visual way.
Meanwhile, Head of the Islamic Network Section (Islamweb) Omar Farouq Al-Rahmani explained that the Takalam website contains more than one hundred and forty integrated lessons distributed over seven levels, and each level includes more than fifty interactive educational activities that combine interest and pleasure. He said the total activities are more than four hundred ensuring that the user will find the appropriate level, smooth learning and proper gradation, starting from the basics to the advanced levels, which makes it the most suitable choice for non-Arabic speakers.

وفي كلمة له، خلال مؤتمر صحفي للإعلان عن إطلاق الموقع، قال الدكتور الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن غانم آل ثاني مدير عام الإدارة العامة للأوقاف، إن موقع “تعلم”، سيكون منصة عالمية لتسهيل تعلم اللغة العربية بأساليب وطرق مختلفة.
وأضاف أن الموقع الجديد سينضم إلى منصات ومواقع تابعة للشبكة الإسلامية، مشيرا إلى أن الشبكة الإسلامية موقع متعدد الخدمات والبوابات يستفيد منه الجمهور في جميع أنحاء العام، حيث يقدم الاستشارات والفتاوى بعدة لغات.
ومن جانبه، قال السيد مال الله الجابر، مدير إدارة الدعوة والإرشاد الديني بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، إن موقع “تـكلم” لتعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها، عبر موقع إسلام ويب يأتي استكمالا لدور إدارة الدعوة والإرشاد الديني في نشر المعرفة والخير لأكبر عدد من الناس وبأيسر الطرق وأحسنها، خدمة للغة القرآن.
وأضاف أن الموقع سيضم محتوى إلكترونيا يجد فيه المهتم والمستخدم بغيته، بدقة عالية، وأسلوب سهل ميسر، وأرشيف غني وواسع.
وأشار إلى أن الموقع صمم تحت إشراف خبراء ليكون نقلة نوعية في تعليم اللغة العربية، يمكن المستخدم من إتقان المهارات المختلفة كالاستماع والمحادثة والقراءة والكتابة بشكل بصري ممتع.
ومن ناحيته، أوضح السيد عمر فاروق الرحماني رئيس قسم الشبكة الإسلامية (إسلام ويب) أن موقع “تكلم” يحتوي على أكثر من مائة وأربعين درسا متكاملا موزعة على سبعة مستويات، وكل مستوى يضم أكثر من خمسين نشاطا تعليميا تفاعليا يجمع ما بين الفائدة والمتعة، ويبلغ إجمالي الأنشطة أكثر من أربعمائة نشاط، تكفل للمستخدم إيجاد المستوى المناسب، وسلاسة التعلم والتدرج السليم، بدءا من الأساسيات وحتى المستويات المتقدمة، ما يجعله الخيار الأنسب لغير الناطقين بالعربية.
