Motorcyclist arrested for stunt driving in Lusail

Doha: A motorcyclist whose video of stunt driving was shared widely on social media has been arrested for his rash road behaviour and for endangering road users in Lusail.
The General Directorate of Traffic stated this on its social media adding that legal measures has been taken against the driver.
The department said, “With reference to the clip circulating about a motorcyclist committing dangerous behaviors and endangering road users near the Lusail area, we inform you that the biker has been arrested and legal measures are taken against him.”
It further called on the honorable public to abide by the traffic laws.

الدوحة: ألقي القبض على سائق الدراجة النارية الذي انتشر له مقطع فيديو وهو يستعرض أثناء القيادة على نطاق واسع على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بسبب سلوكه المتهور على الطريق وتعريض مستخدمي الطرق في لوسيل للخطر.
وذكرت الإدارة العامة للمرور ذلك على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي التابعة لها، مضيفة أنه تم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضد السائق.
وقالت الإدارة: “بالإشارة إلى المقطع المُتداول حول قيام قائد درّاجة نارية بإرتكاب سلوكيات خطرة وتعريض مُستخدمي الطريق للخطر بالقرب من منطقة لوسيل، نُفيدكم بأنه تم ضبط قائد الدراجة وأتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضده.”.
كما دعت الجمهور الموقر إلى الالتزام بقوانين المرور.
