Milaha Launches Express Shipping Service

Doha: Qatar Navigation Company (Milaha), a Qatari public shareholding company, announced the launch of a new express shipping service to connect China and Southeast Asia to India, Qatar and the Gulf region.

The new China-India Express (CIX) service is aimed at improving trade opportunities and enhancing connectivity between China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Kuwait and Iraq.

Milaha said this new product was established to cater to the requirements of Milahas customers, while ensuring world-class transit times, competitive freight rates, and timely delivery.

The new shipping service will contribute to increasing the volumes handled by Hamad Port in Qatar, facilitating imports, exports and transshipment opportunities and accelerating the exchange of trade between the Far East, India and the Gulf.

Through launching this new express shipping service, Milaha noted it confirms its commitment to supporting businesses in Qatar and the region, as well as Qatars 2030 vision which aims at developing and diversifying the economy, enhancing international trade connectivity and securing a sustainable supply chain.

Milaha was founded in 1957 and was listed on Qatar Stock Exchange in 1997. It is one of the largest and most diversified maritime and logistics companies in the Middle East with a focus on providing integrated transport and supply chain solutions.

الدوحة: أطلقت شركة الملاحة القطرية، /شركة مساهمة عامة قطرية/، خدمة جديدة للشحن السريع تربط دول الشرق الأقصى (الصين ومنطقة جنوب شرق آسيا)، بالهند ودولة قطر ومنطقة الخليج العربي.

وذكرت /ملاحة/ أن هذه الخدمة تم تصميمها لتلبي متطلبات عملائها، مع مراعاة أفضل أوقات العبور العالمية، وضمان أسعار شحن تنافسية، وتسليم الحاويات في الوقت المناسب.

كما اشارت الشركة الى ان هذه الخدمة، تهدف إلى تحسين الفرص التجارية وتعزيز خطوط الشحن البحري بين كل من الصين وسنغافورة وماليزيا وفيتنام والهند وقطر وعمان والكويت والإمارات والعراق.

وستساهم خدمة الشحن ، أيضا في زيادة أحجام المناولة في ميناء حمد، وتسهيل العمليات المتعلقة بالاستيراد والتصدير وإعادة الشحن، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز التبادل التجاري بين دول الشرق الأقصى، والهند ومنطقة الخليج العربي.

وتسعى /ملاحة/ من خلال إطلاق خدمة الشحن السريع الجديدة هذه، إلى دعم قطاع الأعمال والمشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة في كل من قطر ومنطقة الخليج العربي، كما تساهم في تحقيق أهداف رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، التي تهدف إلى تنمية وتنويع الاقتصاد، وتعزيز الربط التجاري الدولي وتأمين سلاسل إمداد مستدامة.
