The New Range Rover is the most desirable yet, mixing breath taking modernity and aesthetic grace with technological sophistication and seamless connectivity.

With a suite of efficient mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains – and a pure-electric Range Rover set to join the line-up in 2024 – plus a choice of four, five or seven-seat2 interiors available across Standard and Long Wheelbase body designs, the New Range Rover is at home in any environment.

Land Rover’s new flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture, MLA-Flex, underpins every aspect of this luxury SUV, from its unmatched capability and agile handling to its peerless refinement. By combining state-of-the-art engineering techniques with new levels of virtual development and Land Rover’s punishing development programme, the New Range Rover will deliver new levels of quality.

A pair of innovative Extended Range plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) ² powertrains provide CO₂ emissions below 30g/km, with a pure-electric driving range of up to 100km (62 miles),¹ delivering an expected real-world range of up to 80km (50 miles) – enough for typical Range Rover customers to complete up to 75 per cent of trips using electric power only⁷.

The new luxury SUV is available in SE, HSE and Autobiography models. A First Edition will be available throughout the first year of production, based on the Autobiography and featuring a unique specification. It is exclusively available in a Sunset Gold Satin finish, among a choice of five exterior colours. Both Standard (SWB) or Long Wheelbase (LWB) body designs are available with five seats, while the New Range Rover LWB model is available with a third row for extended comfort for up to seven adults².

The New Range Rover SV is an exquisite interpretation of Range Rover luxury and personalisation from the experts at Special Vehicle Operations. The SV model is available in both SWB and LWB body designs, with exclusive features including new SV Serenity and SV Intrepid design themes and a four-seat SV Signature Suite configuration.

The New Range Rover makes every journey an occasion to be remembered, combining advanced technology with modern luxury to deliver peerless refinement for every occupant, including those in the new third-row seats. By eliminating unwanted noises, vibrations and distractions – and reducing the cognitive load on the driver and passengers – occupants will arrive at their destination feeling refreshed, even after the longest journeys.

Advanced speaker technology builds on the fundamental refinement provided by the MLA-Flex body architecture to deliver serene cabin calmness – ensuring passengers enjoy a first-class experience. It uses the 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System to create one of the quietest vehicle interiors on the road, with additional 20W speakers in the four main headrests for the most immersive sound experience.

The third-generation Active Noise Cancellation⁸ system monitors wheel vibrations, tyre noise and engine sounds transmitted into the cabin and generates a cancelling signal, which is played through the system’s 35 speakers. These include a pair of 60mm diameter speakers in the headrests for each of the four main cabin occupants, which create personal quiet zones similar to the effect when using high-end headphones.

The New Range Rover brings new levels of wellbeing to the luxury SUV sector and Cabin Air Purification Pro³ is the culmination of this pioneering technology. It combines dual-nanoe^TM X technology for allergen reduction and pathogen removal, to help significantly reduce odours and viruses, while PM2.5 Cabin Air Filtration enhances air quality. Advanced nanoe^TM X technology is scientifically proven to significantly reduce viruses and bacteria including SARS-CoV-2 viruses³. The Range Rover was the first luxury SUV to feature Electronic Air Suspension, in 1992, and the New Range Rover continues this pioneering approach with Dynamic Response Pro and pre-emptive suspension that uses eHorizon Navigation data to read the road ahead and prime the suspension to provide perfect responses.

The intelligent technology also works in conjunction with the Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist to smooth out body movements resulting from sudden changes in speed. Fully independent suspension underpins the luxurious ride and features Land Rover’s first ever five-link rear axle, which isolates the cabin from surface imperfections more effectively than ever using advanced air springs.

The New Range Rover is also the first Land Rover to feature Power Assisted Doors⁵ with integrated hazard detection and anti-pinch safety features, which enhance its Soft Door Close capability and ensure every trip begins and ends with effortless refinement and sophistication. All four passenger doors are power assisted – also controlled via the Pivi Pro screen – for elegant entry and exit in any situation, including at angles of up to 10 degrees while off-road. Advanced hazard detection means the doors can automatically pause until the sweep of the door is cleared. The practical two-piece split tailgate that has been a Range Rover hallmark since 1970 is updated for 2021, with a series of new technologies providing greater versatility and convenience.

Inside, the new Versatile Loadspace Floor protects luggage and enhances convenience. Its clever floor panel can be raised forward, across the width of the load area around its mid-point, forming a partition to contain smaller items and keep them within easy reach when unloading. It can also pivot backwards along its leading edge to serve as a backrest when using the lower tailgate as outdoor seating. The new Tailgate Event Suite⁶ takes the Versatile Loadspace Floor backrest concept to new heights, combining additional lighting, audio features and tailored cushions to create the perfect vantage point for outdoor relaxation.

Five-seat models debut a new Auto-Folding Loadspace Cover. Combining the practicality of a rigid cover with the convenience of a retractable design, it elegantly retreats when the upper tailgate is opened to provide unrestricted access to the load area, without opening the lower tailgate.

Seamless technology

The New Range Rover maintains its rich bloodline of pioneering innovation with a suite of technologies designed to effortlessly enhance convenience, efficiency, refinement and safety. Land Rover’s latest Electrical Vehicle Architecture (EVA 2.0) is the enabler-in-chief and includes Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) ² updates for more than 70 electronic modules, meaning the New Range Rover will constantly evolve, improve and remain up to date as it matures.

The New Range Rover elevates Land Rover’s award-winning Pivi Pro infotainment technology with its largest ever touchscreen. The 13.1-inch curved, floating screen embodies the architectural lightness of the interior with a minimalist frame design. It provides intuitive control of all the major vehicle functions, using the latest consumer technology to deliver a smartphone-inspired interface, allied to convenient hard switches for the climate control.

Pivi Pro works in harmony with an elegant new semi-floating 13.7-inch Interactive Driver Display, which features new high-definition graphics based around a three-panel layout that intuitively reflects the design of the Pivi Pro homescreen. Customers can choose from a variety of configurations, including a conventional analogue layout, using the steering wheel controls.

For the first time in a Land Rover, the central display will provide haptic feedback when customers touch and press the screen. Allowing users to feel a positive confirmation without the need to glance at the screen, it reduces the need to look away from the road and makes Pivi Pro even more intuitive.

Rear passengers can enjoy a new Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system, which provides adjustable 11.4-inch HD touchscreens mounted on the rear of the front seatbacks. They can be operated independently and support the connection of most devices with an HDMI port, while using Wi-Fi hotspot capability means rear-seat passengers can enjoy smart TV entertainment on the move. The eight-inch Rear Seat Touchscreen Controller⁹ mounted in the centre armrest of Executive Class Rear Seats provides quick and intuitive control for the perfect seating position, elevating the luxurious rear-seat experience.

Efficient and powerful all-LED lighting is provided on every New Range Rover, with the new high-definition Digital LED Headlights providing a beam range of up to 500m. They create an exceptional design detail and feature Signature daytime running lights, animated indicators, Adaptive Front Lighting and Image Projection technology on start-up, making them the most advanced headlights ever fitted to a Land Rover. Adaptive Front Lighting is capable of shadowing up to 16 objects in New Range Rover’s path, ensuring other road users are not dazzled while maintaining optimum lighting for the driver. Predictive Dynamic Bending Light technology uses navigation information to actively adjust the light beam for approaching corners in the road.

New Manoeuvring Lights help drivers complete low-speed manoeuvres in dimly lit surroundings with complete confidence, by creating a carpet of light around the perimeter of the vehicle, working with the 3D Surround Camera system to provide effortless manoeuvrability.

Serene capability and composure

The flagship of the Land Rover family represents the pinnacle of refined capability thanks to advanced hardware and software systems working in complete harmony, enabled by the new MLA-Flex body architecture. This unrivalled breadth of dynamic capability is governed by Land Rover’s Integrated Chassis Control – a single control system for a suite of advanced technologies that tailor the vehicle dynamics to suit every mile of every journey, to pre-emptively and reactively fine-tune the driving characteristics.

Every New Range Rover features All-Wheel Steering for an effortless drive with heightened high-speed stability and improved manoeuvrability at low speeds, ensuring it is equally at home on the open road and negotiating tight urban streets.

The electrically operated rear axle provides up to seven degrees of steering angle and, at low speeds, turns out-of-phase of the front wheels, giving the New Range Rover a turning circle of less than 11m⁴ – the smallest of any Land Rover. At higher speeds the rear axle turns in phase with the front wheels for enhanced stability and comfort.

The New Range Rover is also the first Land Rover to feature Dynamic Response Pro. The powerful new active 48-volt electronic roll control system is faster-acting and more efficient than a hydraulic set-up, with a torque capacity of up to 1,400Nm fed into the anti-roll bars to keep body movements under control.

Fully independent air suspension isolates the cabin from surface imperfections more effectively than ever, for serene composure at all times. It combines industry-leading air springs volumes with twin-valve dampers – all managed by in-house-developed Adaptive Dynamics control software.

The intelligent All-Wheel Drive (iAWD) transmission is controlled by Land Rover’s Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) system, which monitors grip levels and driver inputs 100 times a second to predictively distribute torque between the front and rear axles, and across the rear axle, for optimum traction on and off-road.

Every Range Rover also features an Active Locking Rear Differential. This optimises traction from the rear axle during high-speed cornering, on slippery surfaces and during off-road wheel articulation, delivering enhanced capability and driver confidence.

All of this technology feeds into Land Rover’s award-winning Terrain Response 2 system, which harnesses the various chassis systems to automatically provide the perfect settings for the surroundings, from a choice of six driving modes, to minimise driver workload across all terrains. Alternatively, the driver can select the most appropriate setting manually or, use Configurable Terrain Response to create a bespoke chassis set-up.

Electrified efficiency

The New Range Rover maintains its compelling combination of effortless performance and peerless refinement with a comprehensive line-up of advanced six- and eight-cylinder powertrains. Spearheading Land Rover’s Reimagine strategy, a pure-electric model will join the family in 2024, bringing full-time zero tailpipe emissions driving to the Range Rover for the first time.

The New Range Rover provides electrified performance with a choice of new Extended Range Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) ² powertrains, the P440e and P510e, and the latest mild-hybrid (MHEV) P360 and P400 Ingenium petrol and D250, D300 and D350 diesel engines. A powerful new petrol flagship – the P530 Twin Turbo V8 – delivers increased refinement and performance and is 17 per cent more efficient than the previous Range Rover V8.

The new Extended-Range PHEVs² combine the inherent refinement of Land Rover’s in-line six-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with a 38.2kWh lithium-ion battery – with usable capacity of 31.8kWh – and a 105kW electric motor integrated with the transmission. Together, the powertrain provides up to 100km (62 miles) of near-silent pure-electric driving. With instantaneous electric torque the new P510e accelerates from 0-60mph in 5.3s (0-100km/h in 5.6s).

The state-of-the-art PHEVs² can reach up to 140km/h (87mph) allowing customers to enjoy the New Range Rover as an EV-only model for most journeys in town and country, with overall CO₂ emissions lower than 30g/km¹. Typical Range Rover customers will be able to complete up to 75 per cent of trips using electric power only⁷ if they begin each journey with a full charge. The clever packaging of the battery, beneath the vehicle and within the wheelbase, ensures both luggage space and all-terrain capability are uncompromised.

The use of advanced eHorizon navigation data also allows the hybrid system to optimise energy usage across a journey, to provide a peaceful arrival at a destination on electric power, while also optimising EV usage for travel in low emissions zones.

The six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines feature the latest 48-volt MHEV technology which harvests energy usually lost under deceleration and braking to boost fuel efficiency. The system’s clever belt-integrated starter motor ensures more responsive and refined operation of the stop-start system and provides extra assistance to the engine when accelerating.

Exquisite personalisation

The New Range Rover SV will provide an exquisite interpretation of Range Rover luxury and personalisation, giving customers even more scope to create a truly individual vehicle with a choice of exclusive design themes, details and material choices from SV.

This hand-crafted model will be the first vehicle to carry the new ceramic SV roundel and simplified naming strategy – known simply as SV. The SV roundel represents the distillation of Special Vehicle Operations’ design and engineering passion for modern luxury, performance and capability. The SV roundel will identify all new Land Rover vehicles launched by Special Vehicle Operations in future.

Both Standard and Long Wheelbase body designs – including a five-seat LWB configuration for the first time – are available with specially curated SV Serenity and SV Intrepid design themes, which introduce two-tone front-to-rear contrasting colourways to Range Rover. New quality benchmark

The New Range Rover has been designed, developed and engineered in the UK and, during this process, Land Rover has filed no fewer than 125 patents covering everything from its pioneering chassis technologies to its PHEV² battery. Land Rover’s engineers used motorsport-derived simulation technology to put the vehicle through its paces in the virtual world more comprehensively and intensively than ever, completing more than 140,000 hours of computational analysis prior to physical testing.

A fleet of prototypes then embarked on a punishing global test and development programme, taking in extreme temperatures ranging from the 50C heat of the desert to the -30C cold of the Arctic.

ويؤثر الهيكل القياسي الطولاني المرن من لاند روڤر، أو MLA-Flex، على كل جوانب سيارة الدفع الرباعي الفاخر، ابتداءً من قدراتها الفائقة غير المسبوقة وتوجيهها الرشيق، وصولاً إلى تحسيناتها الممتازة. وتجمع سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة بين التقنيات الهندسية المتطورة والتطوير الافتراضي الموسع، مع برامج التطوير الضخمة في لاند روڤر، لتحقق هذه السيارة مستويات جودة غير مسبوقة.

ويتوفر زوج من مجموعات نقل الحركة الهجينة القابلة للشحن، والتي تخفض انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون لأقل من من 30 غ/كم، مع مدى قيادة كهربائية يصل حتى 100 كم (62 ميل)¹، ويتوقع أن يبلغ مدى القيادة في الحياة الواقعية 80 كم (50 ميل)، أي ما يكفي لإتمام 75 بالمئة من رحلات عملاء رينج روڤر الاعتيادية باستخدام الطاقة الكهربائية فقط.⁷

وتتوفر السيارة رياضية متعددة الأغراض الفاخرة الجديدة بطرازات SE وHSE وأوتوبيوغرافي (Autobiography). وسيتم توفير إصدار “فيرست إديشن” (First Edition) على مدار العام الأول من الإنتاج، وهو قائم على مواصفات “أوتوبيوغرافي” مع مواصفات فريدة. ويتوفر هذا الإصدار حصرياً بتشطيبات ساتان بلون “سانسيت” (Sunset) الذهبي، مع وجود خمسة خيارات للون الخارجي. ويتوفر كل من الحجمين القياسي (SWB) وقاعد العجلات الطويلة (LWB) بخمسة مقاعد، مع توفّر رينج روڤر الجديدة بقاعد العجلات الطويلة مع صف مقاعد ثالث، لتتسع بشكل مريح لما يصل إلى سبعة أشخاص بالغين².

أما سيارة رينج روڤر إس ڤي (Range Rover SV) فتعد تعبيراً مميزاً عن فخامة سيارات رينج روڤر وطابعها الشخصية، وذلك على يد الخبراء في قسم “عمليات السيارات الخاصة” (SVO)، ويتوفر طراز “إس ڤي” بهيكل قياسي وقاعدة عجلات طويلة، مع ميزات حصرية ضمن باقتي التصميم الجديدتين “SV Serenity” و”SV Intrepid”، وترتيب “SV Signature Suite” بأربعة مقاعد.

عصرية تخطف الأنفاس

ينتقل التصميم العصري للجيل الخامس من سيارة الدفع الرباعي الفاخرة بفلسفة لاند روڤر في التصميم إلى مستويات جديدة، عبر دراسة سجلها الغني عن التعريف، لإنشاء تصميم ذو رسالة مميزة. وتواصل هذه السيارة موقعها في الصدارة، فأبرز سيارة لاند روڤر باتت ذات طابع عصري يخطف الأنفاس ولمسة الجمالية مع تطوّر يليق باسمها.

وتتميز سيارة رينج روڤر بثلاث خطوطٍ رئيسية مستمرة منذ الأجيال السابقة للسيارة، وهي خط السقف المائل وخط الوسط الأمامي البارز وخط العتبات الصاعد. وتجتمع هذه السمات المعروفة مع أجزاء معلقة أمامية قصيرة وجزء خلفي جديد على شكل ذيل القارب، مع باب بمصراعين يفتح أفقياً، من أجل مظهر جانبي أنيق يلائم حضور رينج روڤر المميز.

وتظهر عناية لاند روڤر بالتفاصيل في خط الوسط المتصل، حيث تلتقي الحواف الدائرية للباب مع الزجاج عبر تحسين بسيط مع تشطيبة إخفاء خط الوسط التي تمت هندستها بشكل خاص. وتجتمع التكنولوجيا الداعمة للتصميم مع الزجاج البراق، والإضاءة المخفية عند إطفائها، والتفاصيل المشغولة ببراعة لتحقيق الإحساس بصلابة هذه السيارة.

وتزيد مجموعة الألوان الخارجية المتوفرة من روعة نسب رينج روڤر الجديدة الأنيقة وأسطحها البسيطة، فيما أصبحت خيارات التصميم الداخلي أكثر استدامة ومسؤولية وتطوراً من أي وقتٍ مضى، وبات لدى العملاء خيارات أوسع للمواد والتشطيبات، بما فيها أنسجة وأقمشة “ألترافابريكس” (Ultrafabrics)، مع استمرار العلاقة المميزة بين لاند روڤر و”كفادرات” (Kvadrat)، شركة الأقمشة الفاخرة الرائدة أوروبياً. وتجتمع أقمشة “كفادرات” مع أقمشة “ألترافابريكس” لتشكيل المزيد من الخيارات للمواد الأخف وزناً، والتي تصدر ما يساوي ربع انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون المعتادة فقط.

إتقان بلا مثيل

تجعل سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة كل رحلة مناسبة خاصة وذكرى، حيث تجمع التكنولوجيا المتطورة مع الفخامة العصرية لتحقق إتقاناً لا مثيل له لكل راكب، بما في ذلك ركاب الصف الثالث الجديد. ومن خلال إزالة الضجيج والاهتزازات والتشتيت غير المرغوب به – وبالتالي تخفيض إنهاك حواس السائق والركاب – سيصل الجميع إلى وجهتهم بطاقة متجددة، وحتى بعد الرحلات الطويلة.

وتساهم تكنولوجيا مكبرات الصوت في تحقيق الكثير من هذا الإتقان، وتتوفر بفضل هيكل MLA-Flex المهيأ لتحقيق الهدوء التام، وضمان استمتاع كافة الركاب بتجربة راقية. وتستخدم هذه التكنولوجيا نظام صوت “ميريديان” بقوة 1,600 واط، لتجهيز واحدة من أكثر المقصورات الداخلية هدوءاً، مع مكبرات الصوت الإضافية بقوة 20 واط في مساند الرأس الأربعة الرئيسية، من أجل أروع تجربة صوت ممكنة.

ويراقب الجيل الثالث من نظام “إزالة الضجيج النشطة”(Active Noise Cancellation)⁸ اهتزازات العجلات والإطارات والمحرك التي تصل إلى المقصورة، وينشئ إشارة مضادة يتم تشغيلها من نظام الصوت المؤلف من 35 مكبراً، من بينها مكبران بقطر 60 ميليمتر في كل من مساند الرأس لركاب المقصورة الأربعة الأساسيين، ليخلق مساحة شخصية هادئة، مماثلة لتأثير استخدام سماعات الرأس الممتازة.

كما انتقلت رينج روڤر الجديدة إلى مستويات غير مسبوقة من الحفاظ على عافية الركاب، حيث يعد نظام “تنقية هواء المقصورة المعززة”3 (Cabin Air Purification Pro) ثمرة التطوير المستمر لهذه التكنولوجيا الرائدة، حيث يجمع بين تكنولوجيا “نانو إكس” (nanoe™ X) المزدوجة لتخفيض نسبة مسببات الحساسية والبكتيريا، وتخفيف الروائح والفيروسات، فيما يقوم نظام “تصفية هواء المقصورة” بمعيار 2.5 بيكومتر بتحسين جودة الهواء. وأثبتت تكنولوجيا “نانو إكس” علمياً قدرتها على تخفيض أعداد الفيروسات والبكتيريا إلى درجة كبيرة، بما فيها فيروس كورونا المستجد3. وتنشط هذه التكنولوجيا المبتكرة في الهواء، بحيث لا تستطيع الجزيئات العبور من خلال فلتر الهواء، وتعلق في النهاية ويتم تحييدها. أما جهاز “نانو إكس” الإضافي في الصف الثاني فيزيد من فعالية هذا النظام من أجل كافة الركاب.

وبعد أن كانت رينج روڤر أول سيارة دفع رباعي فاخرة تتزوّد بنظام التعليق الهوائي الإلكتروني، سنة 1992، تواصل رينج روڤر الجديدة هذه الريادة بنظام “الاستجابة الديناميكية المعززة” (Dynamic Response Pro) ونظام التعليق الاستباقي الذي يستخدم بيانات الملاحة من نظام “إي هورايزن” (eHorizon) لقراءة الطريق المقبل وتهيئة نظام التعليق له لضمان استجابات مثالية.

كما تعمل هذه التكنولوجيا الذكية بالتناغم مع نظام “مثبت السرعة التكيفي” و”مساعدة التوجيه” لتطرية حركات هيكل السيارة عند التغيرات المفاجئة في السرعة. وتتميز هذه السيارة بنظام التعليق المستقل تماماً، مع أول محور خلفي خماسي الوصلات على الإطلاق من لاند روڤر، ويعزل هذا المحور المقصورة عن عيوب الطريق بشكل أكثر فعالية من أي وقت سبق بمساعدة نوابض التعليق الهوائي المتطورة.

كما إن سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة أول سيارة من لاند روڤر تتزوّد بميزة الأبواب المعززة كهربائياً⁵، مع ميزات الرصد المتكامل للأخطار ومضاد الصدمات، والتي تدعم ميزة إغلاق الأبواب الهادئ، ويضمن بداية الرحلات وانتهائها بشكل لطيف. أبواب الركاب الأربعة معززة كهربائياً، ويتم التحكم بها كذلك من شاشة نظام “بيفي برو” (Pivi Pro) – من أجل دخول أنيق في أي وضع، بما في ذلك زوايا حادة حتى 10 درجات على الطرقات الوعرة. ويستطيع نظام رصد الأخطار المتقدم أن يوقف الباب أوتوماتيكياً لحين خلو مساحة فتحه. كما واصل الباب الخلفي المنقسم العملي حضوره كعلامة فارقة في سيارات رينج روڤر منذ عام 1970 وحتى 2021، مع تعزيزه الآن بعدد من التقنيات الجديدة التي توفر المزيد من الفوائد والراحة.

وداخل السيارة، تحمي “أرضية التحميل العملية” (Versatile Loadspace Floor) الأمتعة وتسهل تحميلها، فلوح الأرضية الذكية هذه قادر على الارتفاع من المقدمة، على عرض مساحة التحميل حتى نقطة الوسط، لتبرز حجرة تحميل منفصلة للأغراض الأصغر حجماً، ويظل الوصول إليها سهلاً عند إخراجها. كما يمكن رفع الحافة الخلفية لهذه الأرضية، كي تشكّل مسنداً للظهر عند الجلوس على حافة مصد السيارة الخلفي. كما تأخذ “باقة الباب الخلفي النشط”⁶ مفهوم أرضية التحميل العملية إلى مستويات جديدة، حيث تجمع بين الإنارة الإضافية والميزات الصوتية والوسائد المصممة خصيصاً لإنشاء مساحة ممتعة أثناء الاسترخاء في الهواء الطلق.

كما تحتوي الطرازات بخمس مقاعد للمرة الأولى “غطاء مساحة التحميل بالطي الآلي”، والذي يجمع الطابع العملي للغطاء القاسي، مع أريحية التصميم القابل للتعديل، حيث يطوى بأناقة عند فتح الباب الخلفي العلوي، ليوفر وصولاً بلا عوائق إلى منطقة الحمولة، بدون فتح الباب الخلفي السفلي.

تكنولوجيا سلسة

تحفاظ سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة على جينات تصدر الابتكار، عبر باقة من التقنيات المصممة لتحسين السيارة وراحتها وكفاءتها وأمانها بدون جهد يذكر. ويعد “هيكل السيارات الكهربائي” (EVA 2.0) الأحدث من لاند روڤر أساساً للكثير من هذه التكنولوجيا، ويتضمن تحديثات البرمجيات الهوائية (SOTA)² لأكثر من 70 نموذجاً إلكترونياً، ما يعني أن سيارة رينج روڤر ستواصل تطورها وتحسنها، مع بقائها محدّثة طوال الوقت.

وترتقي سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة بنظام المعلومات والترفيه الفائز بالجوائز “بيفي برو” من لاند روڤر، مع أكبر شاشة لمس لهذا النظام على الإطلاق. وتبرز في الشاشة المنحنية الطافية بقياس 13.1 بوصة خفة هيكل المقصورة الداخلية، والتصميم القائم على الإطارات البسيطة. وتوفر هذه الشاشة تحكماً سهلاً بكل وظائف السيارة الأساسية، مع التكنولوجيا الحديثة وواجهة استخدام مستوحاة من الهواتف الذكية، تتلاءم مع مفاتيح التحكم الملموسة للتكييف.

ويعمل نظام “بيفي برو” بالتناغم مع “شاشة السائق التفاعلية” الجديدة شبه الطافية بقياس 13.7 بوصة، وتتضمن رسوميات جديدة عالية الدقة مرتبة في ثلاثة لوحات، وتعكس تصميم الشاشة الرئيسية في نظام “بيفي برو”. ويستطيع العملاء التغيير لعدد من الترتيبات المتنوعة، بما فيها الترتيب العملي العامودي، وذلك باستخدام أزرار التحكم في المقود.

وستوفر الشاشة المركزية، لأول مرة في سيارات لاند روڤر، استجابات حسية لنقرات أصابع المستخدمين على الشاشة، ما يتيح لهم الحصول على تأكيد بضغطهم على الزر المطلوب بدون الحاجة للنظر إلى الشاشة، ما يقلل من الحاجة لإزاحة النظر عن الطريق، ويجعل نظام “بيفي برو” أسهل استخداماً.

ويستطيع الركاب الخلفيون الاستمتاع بنظام “ترفيه المقاعد الخلفية” (RSE) الجديد، والذي يوفر شاشة لمس عالية الدقة قابل للتعديل بقياس 11.4 بوصة، مركّبة على ظهر المقاعد الأمامية. ويمكن تشغيل الشاشتين بشكل مستقل، وتدعمان الاتصال بمختلف الأجهزة باستخدام مقبس HDMI، وعند استخدام نقطة اتصال “واي فاي” (Wi-Fi) يصبح ركاب المقاعد الخلفية قادرين على الاستمتاع بخدمات الترفيه الذكية أثناء التنقل. أما شاشة التحكم باللمس بقياس 8 بوصة للمقاعد الخلفية⁹ على مسند الذراعين المركزي لمقاعد “الدرجة التنفيذية” الخلفية، فتتيح التحكم السريع والسهل للحصول على وضعية جلوس مثالية، وزيادة فخامة تجربة ركوب هذه السيارة.

كما سيتم تزويد كافة سيارات رينج روڤر الجديدة بالإضاءة بمصابيح “ليد” (LED) بالكامل، مع الأضواء الأمامية بمصابيح “ليد” الرقمية، والتي توفر إضاء لمسافة تصل حتى 500 متر. وتشكل هذه الأضواء تفصيلاً استثنائياً في التصميم، وتحتوي على أضواء التشغيل النهارية، والمؤشرات الرسومية، ونظام “الإضاءة الأمامية التكيّفية”، وتكنولوجيا الإسقاط الضوئي للصور عند تشغيل السيارة، ما يجعلها أكثر الأضواء الأمامية تطوراً في أي سيارة لاند روڤر. وتستطيع الإضاءة الأمامية التكيفية أن تخفف الإضاءة على ما يصل إلى 16 جسماً في طريق رينج روڤر الجديدة، ما يضمن عدم إعاقة نظر مستخدمي الطريق، مع الحفاظ على إنارة مثالية للسائق. أما تكنولوجيا “الإضاءة المنحنية الديناميكية التنبؤية” فتستخدم معلومات نظام الملاحة، وتعدل شعاع الضوء بشكل نشط عند الاقتراب من زوايا الطريق.

كما تساعد أضواء المناورة الجديدة السائقين على إتمام المناورات بالسرعات المنخفضة في أي محيط مظلم بثقة تامة، وذلك من خلال إسقاط بساط من الضوء على الأرض حول السيارة، يعمل مع نظام الكاميرا المحيطية ثلاثية الأبعاد، لتوفير قدرة كاملة على المناورة.

توازن وقدرات نقية:

تمثل أبرز سيارات لاند روڤر قمّة القدرات الفائقة والقدرة على ضبطها، بفضل المعدات والبرمجيات التي تعمل بتناغم تام، والمتاحة بفضل هيكل MLA-Flex. يتم التحكم بهذه القدرات الواسعة عبر نظام “التحكم المتكامل بالهيكل القاعدي” (Integrated Chassis Control)، وهو نظام تحكم واحد لباقة من التقنيات المتطورة، ويعدّل ديناميكيات السيارة لملائمة كل ميل من الرحلة، من خلال الضبط الدقيق سواء بشكل استباقي أو كاستجابة لخصائص الطريق.

كما تحتوي كل سيارة رينج روڤر جديدة على نظام التوجيه لكل العجلات (All-Wheel Steering)، من أجل قيادة مريحة وثباتٍ أكبر في السرعات العالية، مع تسهيل المناورات في السرعات المنخفضة، ما يجعل الركاب يشعرون بوجودهم في منزلهم سواءً أكانوا على طريق سريع أم يخوضون في طرقات المدينة الضيقة.

ويوفر المحور الخلفي المشغل كهربائياً ما يصل إلى سبع درجات من تغيير زاوية التوجيه، وفي السرعات المنخفضة، يقوم بتدوير العجلات الأمامية، ويمنح سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة دائرة انعطاف يقل قطرها عن 11 متر⁴، وهي أصغر دائرة انعطاف لأي سيارة من لاند روڤر. أما على السرعات المرتفعة، فيدور المحور الخلفي بشكل متزامن مع العجلات الأمامية، من أجل زيادة ثبات وراحة السيارة.

كما إن سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة أول سيارة لاند روڤر مزودة بنظام “الاستجابة الديناميكية المعززة” (Dynamic Response Pro)، ويعد نظام التحكم النشط بالانزلاق الإلكتروني بقوة 48 فولط أسرع استجابة وأكثر كفاءة من الترتيب الهيدروليكي، مع عزم دوران يصل حتى 1,400 نيوتن متر يتم توجيهه إلى القضبان المضادة للانزلاق، للإبقاء على حركات هيكل السيارة تحت السيطرة.

أما نظام التعليق الهوائي المستقل تماماً فيعزل المقصورة عن عيوب سطح الطريق بشكل أكثر فعالية مما سبق، من أجل ضمان التوازن والهدوء في كل الأوقات. ويجمع هذا النظام بين عدد من النوابض الهوائية الأفضل من نوعها، مع المثبطات مزدوجة الصمامات، والتي تدار بالكامل عبر “الديناميكيات التكيفية”، برنامج التحكم المطوّر داخل الشركة.

فيما يتم التحكم بناقل سرعة “الدفع الكلي الذكي” (iAWD) من نظام “ديناميكيات مجموعة القيادة الذكية” (IDD)، ويراقب هذا النظام مستويات الاحتكاك وحركات السائق 100 مرة كل ثانية، كي يتنبأ بأنسب توزيع لعزم الدوران بين المحورين الأمامي والخلفي، وضمن المحور الخلفي نفسه، من أجل قوة جرّ مثالية على الطرقات العادية والوعرة.

كما تحتوي كل سيارة رينج روڤر على ترس الإقفال التفاضلي الخلفي النشط، والذي يحسّن قوة الجر في المحور الخلفي عند الزوايا في السرعات المرتفعة، وعلى الأسطح الزلقة، وخلال تدوير العجلات على الطرقات الوعرة، ليضمن تحسين قدرات السيارة وثقة السائق.

وتصب كل هذه التكنولوجيا في نظام لاند روڤر الحائز على الجوائز، “الاستجابة للتضاريس 2” (Terrain Response 2)، الذي يراقب مختلف أنظمة الهيكل القاعدي، ويوفر تلقائياً إعدادات تلائم محيط السيارة، إلى جانب الاختيار بين ست وضعيات قيادة، لتخفيف الجهد المبذول من قبل السائق على مختلف التضاريس. كما يستطيع السائق بدلاً من ذلك اختيار الإعدادات الأنسب يدوياً، أو استخدام نظام “الاستجابة للتضاريس القابلة للضبط” (Configurable Terrain Response) من أجل الوصول لإعدادات الهيكل القاعدي المثالية.

كفاءة كهربائية

تحافظ رينج روڤر الجديدة على مزيجها المعتاد من الأداء المريح والإتقان غير المسبوق، مع مجموعة المحركات المتطورة سداسية وثمانية الأسطوانات. كما سيتم تطبيق استراتيجية “تصور جديد” في لاند روڤر، عبر إضافة طراز كهربائي بالكامل إلى عائلة رينج روڤر سنة 2024، ليتم توفير القيادة الخالية من الانبعاثات تماماً كل الوقت للمرة الأولى في سيارة رينج روڤر.

وتوفّر رينج روڤر الجديدة الأداء الفائق بالطاقة الكهربائية عبر توسيع مجموعات نقل الحركة الكهربائية الهجينة القابلة للشحن (PHEV)²، لتشمل المحركين P440e وP510e، إلى جانب محركي “إنجينيوم” البنزين الهجينين الخفيفين (MHEV) P360 وP400، ومحركات الديزل D250 وD300 وD350. كما يتوفر طراز جبار جديد بالبنزين، بمحرك P530 ثماني الأسطوانات بالشاحن الطوربيني (تيربو) المزدوج لتحسين تجربة وأداء السيارة، مع جعلها أكثر كفاءة بنسبة 17% من سيارة رينج روڤر ثمانيّة الأسطوانات السابقة.

كما تشمل مجموعة المحركات الموسّعة الطرازات الكهربائية الهجينة القابلة للشحن²، والقائمة على تحسين أداء محرك “إنجينيوم” سداسي الأسطوانات من لاند روڤر، عبر إضافة بطارية ليثيوم أيون بسعة 38.2 كيلو واط ساعي، مع سعة قابلة للاستخدام تبلغ 31.8 كيلو واط ساعي، إلى جانب محرّك كهربائي بقوة 105 كيلو واط، مدمج بنظام ناقل السرعة. وتتيح مجموعة نقل الحركة هذه ما يصل إلى 100 كم (62 ميلاً) من القيادة الصامتة الكهربائية بالكامل، وتستطيع مجموعة نقل الحركة P510e التسارع، بفضل عزم الدوران الكهربائي الفوري، من 0 إلى 100 كم/سا خلال 5.6 ثانية (0-60 ميل/سا في 5.3 ثانية).

وتستطيع الطرازات الهجينة القابلة للشحن2 المتطورة الوصول إلى سرعة حتى 140 كم/سا (87 ميل/سا) بالطاقة الكهربائية، وتتيح الاستمتاع بقيادة سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة وكأنها كهربائية فقط في معظم الرحلات داخل المدينة أو الريف، مع تخفيض إجمالي انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون إلى ما دون 30 غ/كم1. ويستطيع معظم عملاء رينج روڤر إتمام 75 بالمئة من رحلاتهم باستخدام الطاقة الكهربائية فقط7، وذلك إن بدؤوا كل رحلة بشحنة كاملة. ويتيح الموقع الذكي للبطارية، تحت السيارة داخل قاعدة العجلات، عدم التنازل عن مساحة الأمتعة أو القدرات الفائقة على التضاريس القاسية.

كما يتيح استخدام بيانات الملاحة من نظام “إي هورايزن” المتطور مع الطرازات الهجينة تحسين استهلاك الطاقة خلال الرحلة، ليضمن وصولاً هادئاً إلى الوجهة المطلوبة باستخدام الطاقة الكهربائية، إلى جانب زيادة استخدام الوضعية الكهربائية في المناطق ذات الانبعاثات المنخفضة.

وتحتوي محركات البنزين والديزل سداسية الأسطوانات على تكنولوجيا السيارات الهجينة الخفيفة (MHEV) الأكثر تطوراً مع محرك باستطاعة 48 فولط، يحصد الطاقة المهدورة عادة عند تخفيف السرعة أو استخدام الفرامل، لاستغلالها في زيادة كفاءة استهلاك الوقود. ويضمن المحرك الذكي الموصّل بالأحزمة في هذا النظام تشغيلاً أفضل استجابة وضبطاً لنظام التوقف-الانطلاق، كما يوفّر تعزيزاً إضافياً للمحرّك عند التسارع.

تخصيص شخصي فريد

تقدّم سيارة رينج روڤر إس ڤي (Range Rover SV) الجديدة تعبيراً فريداً عن فخامة رينج روڤر وطابعها الشخصي، متيحة للعملاء مجالاً أوسع لإنشاء سيارة فردية خاصة بهم، من خلال خيارات باقات التصميم الحصرية، والتفاصيل والمواد المختارة من قبل فريق “السيارات الخاصة” (SV).

وسيكون هذا الطراز المعدّ بعناية أول سيارة تحمل شعار “إس ڤي” الدائري الجديد من السيراميك، وتتبع استراتيجية أسماء سهلة للطرازات المعروفة ببساطة باسم “إس ڤي”. ويعد هذا الشعار الدائري تعبيراً عن شغف فريق “عمليات السيارات الخاصة” (SVO) بالتصميم والهندسة بحثاً عن الفخامة العصرية والأداء والقدرات الفائقة. وسيكون شعار “إس ڤي” علامة فارقة في كل سيارات لاند روڤر الجديدة الصادرة من قسم “عمليات السيارات الخاصة” في المستقبل.

ويتوفر كل من التصميمين القياسي وقاعدة العجلات الطويلة – بما في ذلك ترتيب الخمسة مقاعد لأول مرة مع قاعدة العجلات الطويلة – مع إحدى باقتي التصميم “إس ڤي الصفاء” (SV Serenity) و”إس ڤي الإقدام” (SV Intrepid)، واللتين تتضمنان خطوطاً متباينة ثنائية الألوان تمتد من مقدمة السيارة لمؤخرتها. كما تتضمن المواد الحصرية المستخدمة المعادن المصقولة والمطلية، والسيراميك الناعم، والموزاييك المتشابك في نقوش الجلد الناعم الملمس الشبيه بجلد مقاعد الطيران، إلى جانب أنسجة “ألترافابريكس” غير الجلدية المستدامة.

ويجسد خيار “باقة إس ڤي المميزة” (SV Signature Suite) على الطرازات بقاعدة العجلات الطويلة الفخامة وجودة الصنعة في سيارة رينج روڤر إس ڤي، ويوفر بيئة سفر لا مثيل لها لأكثر العملاء تميزاً. وتتضمن المقاعد المثبتة بشكل خاص 24 طريقة للتعديل إلى جانب ميزة التدليك، كما تحتوي على طاولة صغيرة تخرج بشكل مميز من لوحة التحكم المركزية الثابتة بالطول الكامل، مثبتة على دعامات جميلة لتوفير مساحة عمل مريحة عند الحاجة.

أما بالنسبة للمحركات، فستتوفر رينج روڤر إس ڤي بمحرّك P530 ثماني الأسطوانات بالتيربو المزدوج، وP510e الهجين القابل للشحن بالمدى الموسّع (على قاعدة العجلات القياسية) ومحرّك “إنجينيوم” عالي الكفاءة D350 سداسي الأسطوانات بالديزل.

مستويات جديدة من الجودة

تم تصميم وتطوير وهندسة سيارة رينج روڤر الجديدة في المملكة المتحدة، وخلال هذه العملية أصدرت لاند روڤر ما لا يقل عن 125 براءة اختراع تغطي كل شيءٍ في السيارة، من تكنولوجيا الهيكل القاعدي المتطورة إلى بطارية الطرازات الهجينة القابلة للشحن². واستخدم مهندسو لاند روڤر تكنولوجيا المحاكاة المشتقة من عالم السباقات كي تصل بالسيارة الجديدة لأقصى إمكاناتها في العالم الافتراضي، وذلك خلال أكثر من 140,000 ساعة من الاختبارات والتحليلات الحاسوبية الشاملة والمكثفة السابقة للاختبارات الواقعية.

ثم تم إطلاق أسطول من نماذج السيارة إلى برنامج اختباراتٍ وتطوير قاسٍ، يقام في أقسى درجات الحرارة التي تتدرج من 50 درجة مئوية في الصحراء، إلى 30 درجة مئوية تحت الصفر في الدائرة القطبية الشمالية.
