There are other school subjects, as stated in a report published by the Russian “FPR” website, where writer Olga Ivanovna reviewed some of the strangest school subjects studied by students in some countries, according to Al-Jazeera Net.
– Nature Admiration Lessons in Japan:
In some Japanese schools, students’ daily schedules include the “Nature Admiration” course, which aims to instill in children a culture of appreciation for the beauty of the environment. In this subject, children learn about the peculiarities of the development of plants and animals and how they interact with each other. Much like other subjects, students are assessed and take an exam at the end of the school year.
– Happiness lessons in Germany:
In a school in Heidelberg, Germany, students study a subject that teaches them how to be happy, and during the course, the question of how to live in harmony with oneself is discussed. At the end of the school year, each student shares his or her own happiness project. It is represented in filming a video clip that depicts their happiest day, such as partying with friends or walking in nature.
– Beekeeping lessons in Bashkiria:
More than 100 schools in Bashkortostan have their own apiaries, and in beekeeping classes, children learn how to care for bees, collect honey and other related matters. The reason for including such a subject in the educational system of Bashkortostan is that it is one of the best honey-producing republics in the world, thus in order to maintain this honourable status, some educational institutions teach children the basics of beekeeping.
– Surf lessons in Australia:
The inhabitants of the green continent are the best surfers on the planet, and to maintain this advantage, surfing is taught in all Australian schools. Therefore, the Australian authorities have spared no effort to teach the locals to master surfing with a skill that surpasses the tourists.
– Scientific inventions in America:
Students in American schools study a subject called “scientific inventions”. The authorities have taken such a step with the aim of unleashing the potential of future scientists, and after passing the theoretical course, each student is tasked with creating something new, where Students make presentations of their invention and explain its importance, and then receive grades from the subject’s teachers.

تتضمن الجداول اليومية للطلاب في بعض المدارس اليابانية مادة “الإعجاب بالطبيعة”، والهدف منها غرس ثقافة تقدير جمال البيئة في نفوس الأطفال.
وفي هذا المادة، يتعرف الأطفال على خصوصيات تطور النباتات والحيوانات وكيفية تفاعلها مع بعضها. ومثل غيرها من المواد الدراسية، يخضع الطلاب للتقييم ويجرون امتحانًا في نهاية العام الدراسي.
دروس السعادة في ألمانيا
في مدرسة بمدينة هايدلبرغ الألمانية، يدرس الطلاب مادة تعلمهم كيف يكونون سعداء، وخلال الدرس تناقش مسألة كيفية العيش في وئام مع النفس.
وفي نهاية العام الدراسي يشارك كل طالب مشروعه الخاص عن السعادة، ويتمثل في تصوير مقطع فيديو يجسد أسعد يوم عنده، مثل تنظيم حفلة مع الأصدقاء أو المشي وسط الطبيعة.
دروس تربية النحل في بشكيريا
تضمّ أكثر من 100 مدرسة في باشكورتوستان مناحل خاصة بها، ويتعلم الأطفال في فصول تربية النحل كيفية رعاية النحل وجمع العسل وغيرها من الأمور ذات الصلة.
ويعود سبب إدراج مثل هذه المادة في النظام التعليمي لباشكورتوستان إلى كونها واحدة من أفضل الجمهوريات التي تنتج العسل في العالم.
ومن أجل الحفاظ على هذه المكانة المشرفة، تقوم بعض المؤسسات التعليمية بتدريس الأطفال أساسيات تربية النحل.

يدرس الطلاب في المدارس الأميركية مادة تسمى “الاختراعات العلمية”، وقد اتخذت السلطات مثل هذه الخطوة بهدف إطلاق العنان لإمكانات علماء المستقبل، وبعد اجتياز الدورة النظرية، يكلف جميع طالب بابتكار شيء جديد.
وفي نهاية الدورة، يُقدم الطلّاب عروضًا لاختراعاتهم ويوضحون مدى أهميتها، ليحصلوا بعد ذلك على درجات من معلمي المادة.
