Mowasalat (Karwa) Signs MoU with SAP to Digitally Transform Transportation

Doha: Mowasalat (Karwa) signed an MoU with global technology company SAP to enable real-time insights and passenger experiences for the next generation of transportation infrastructure.
Central to Mowasalat (Karwa)’s development has been the goal of providing a fully integrated, state-of-the-art ground transport network that includes both public and private services. Mowasalat (Karwa) is also supporting the Qatar Public Transport Program (QPTP), which is aligned with the Qatar National Vision 2030 to support economic and social development.
Mowasalat (Karwa) CEO Fahad Saad Al Qahtani emphasized that “sustainability and agility are at the very heart of our business, and this directly resonates in the implementation of latest technology.
The SAP digital framework assists us to integrate all technical and operational innovations and to run our business smoothly. It is an important facilitator for us to reach our strategic goals and support the Qatar National Vision 2030.” he said.
In turn, Mowasalat (Karwa) CAO Ahmed Al Muftah added: “Qatar’s transportation landscape is in a state of transition away from individual towards shared rides; In parallel, the upcoming international events and their massive influx of guests, who are used to public transport in their home countries, pose a stress test to the network. Mowasalat (Karwa) will also see how new and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud, and mobility, can simplify and automate its supply chain, logistics, and asset intelligence.
Chief Innovation Officer, SAP Middle East South Mazen Raad, said “Mowasalat is set to become an Intelligent Enterprise that can modernize its applications on the cloud to drive new levels of customer experiences, business agility and innovation, and disaster recovery,”

الدوحة: أعلنت شركة مواصلات (كروة) عن توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة البرمجيات العالمية /ساب SAP/ لتوفير بيانات تحليلية فورية وتقديم أفضل تجربة للعملاء من خلال الجيل القادم من مرافق النقل.
وتسعى /كروة/ لتوفير شبكة نقل طرقي متكاملة تشمل الخدمات العامة والخاصة على حد سواء، كما تدعم تحقيق “برنامج قطر للنقل العام” الذي يتماشى مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030 لدعم التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية.
وأكد السيد فهد سعد القحطاني الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة مواصلات (كروة) أن الشركة تضع الاستدامة والمرونة في صدارة أولوياتها، وتحرص على استخدام أحدث التقنيات.
وقال إن برمجيات /ساب/ تساعد على دمج جميع الابتكارات التقنية والتشغيلية وإدارة الأعمال بفاعلية، كما تعزز سعي الشركة لتحقيق أهدافها الاستراتيجية ودعم رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
ومن جانبه، قال السيد أحمد المفتاح، الرئيس التنفيذي للشؤون الإدارية بشركة مواصلات (كروة) إن منظومة النقل في قطر تمر بحالة من التحول نحو تشجيع استخدام النقل الجماعي بدلاً من المركبات الخاصة، وفي نفس الوقت، تمثل الفعاليات الدولية المقبلة والأعداد الكبيرة المتوقعة من الضيوف، الذين اعتادوا استخدام وسائل النقل العام في بلدانهم، اختباراً لقدرات شبكة النقل في البلاد، وهو ما يتطلب استراتيجية تستند إلى بيانات مباشرة ودقيقة وسريعة.
وأضاف: “وتساعدنا عملية التحول الرقمي على معالجة كميات كبيرة من البيانات بطرق سريعة والوصول إلى تقييم دقيق للمتطلبات، وهذا عامل أساسي لتقديم أفضل تجربة نقل لعملائنا”.
كما تبحث شركة مواصلات (كروة) سبل الاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة، مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي، وتطبيقات “تعلم الآلة” والتي تساعد على معالجة أحجام ضخمة من البيانات والوصول إلى نتائج أسرع وأكثر دقة، بالإضافة إلى الأنظمة السحابية، والتنقل الذكي، بما يدعم التبسيط والتشغيل التلقائي للعمليات اللوجستية والتوريدات وإدارة أصول الشركة.
ومن جانبه، قال السيد مازن رعد، رئيس الابتكارات التقنية بشركة /ساب/ في منطقة جنوب الشرق الأوسط، إن شركة مواصلات (كروة) تسير بخطى واثقة لتكون مؤسسة ذكية يمكنها تحديث تطبيقاتها على الأنظمة السحابية لدعم مستويات جديدة من التميز في خدمة العملاء، وتحقيق المرونة والابتكار في مجال الأعمال، ومواجهة الأزمات.
