“Car traps” speed bumps in Al-Luqta

Doha: A number of residents of Al-Luqta called on the concerned authorities to work to replace the industrial speed bumps that are scattered in the streets of the area with modern ones that conform to specifications and standards that reduce the speed of vehicles and not cause any damage to their lower parts.

They stressed that the speed bumps scattered in the streets of Mohammed bin Assem, Al-Ramli, Al-Sani and Al-Juri, and other streets located in the same area, are unsafe and expose their vehicles to breakdowns and although they were built many years ago, “Ashghal” did not monitor and update them and create safer speed bumps for drivers, pedestrians and vehicles.

الدوحة: طالبَ عددٌ من سكان اللقطة الجهات المعنية العمل على استبدال المطبات الصناعيّة المُنتشرة في شوارع المنطقة بأخرى حديثة ومُطابقة للمُواصفات والمقاييس تعمل على تخفيف سرعة المركبات وعدم تسبّبها بأيّ أضرار في أجزائها السفلية.

مؤكدين أنّ المطبات المنتشرة في شوارع محمد بن عاصم والرميلي والسني والجوري، وغيرها من الشوارع الواقعة في نفس المنطقة غير آمنة وتعرض مركباتهم للأعطال ورغم أنه تم إنشاؤها منذ سنوات طويلة إلا أن «أشغال» لم تعمل على رصدها وتحديثها وإنشاء مطبات آمنة للسائقين والمشاة والمركبات.
