The industrial Area needs regular markets

Doha: Citizens stressed that the best solution to eliminate the phenomenon of random markets established by some Asians in the industrial area is to create a regular market for wholesale and retail, through which the population of the region, whose numbers exceed tens of thousands, can get their basic food needs at an appropriate price, and helps companies that have kitchens to prepare food in their own homes to buy their needs instead of buying from the Sailiya market.
They pointed out that the purchasing power of the residents of the industrial area and the companies in it are high and active, and it is necessary to find official outlets through which street vendors with licenses from the ministry concerned can practice the profession of direct selling to the public, considering that the existence of a licensed regular market eliminates the phenomenon of selling spoiled or damaged food, and will be under the supervision of the relevant state authorities.
They suggested to the stakeholders to establish at least five small markets such as the Omani and old central markets, each with at least 20 outlets for sale, in order to allow street vendors to obtain the required license from the concerned authorities and the approval of the sponsor to sell, while ensuring that they are granted sites with a small rental value ranging from 300 to 500 QR.
The Ministry of Municipality had earlier announced to Al Raya the establishment of a regular market in an open area in the industrial zone after fencing the site and providing it with gates, cameras and security personnel in order to organize the work of vendors, and so that the market is under surveillance, noting that the presence of vendors in regular locations is better than spreading randomly on the streets of the industrial area.
State stakeholders are carrying out joint campaigns involving the ministries of trade, industry, municipality and interior to reduce random markets in industrial areas and other regions of the country.

الدوحة: أكّد مُواطنون أنَّ الحلَّ الأمثل للقضاء على ظاهرة الأسواق العشوائية التي يقيمها بعض الآسيويين في المنطقة الصناعية يتمثل في إنشاء سوق نظامي لبيع الجملة والمفرق، يستطيع من خلاله سكان المنطقة الذين تتجاوز أعدادهم عشرات الآلاف الحصول على احتياجاتهم الأساسية من المواد الغذائية بسعر مناسب، كما أنها تساعد الشركات التي لديها مطابخ لإعداد الأطعمة في المساكن الخاصة بها من شراء احتياجاتها بدلًا من الشراء من سوق السيلية.
وأشاروا إلى أنَّ القوة الشرائية بالنسبة لسكان المنطقة الصناعية والشركات الموجودة بها عالية ونشطة، ولا بدّ من إيجاد منافذ رسمية يستطيع من خلالها الباعة المتجولون ممن لديهم رخص من الوزارة المعنية ممارسة مهنة البيع المباشر للجمهور، معتبرين أن وجود سوق نظاميّ مرخّص يقضي على ظاهرة بيع المواد الغذائية الفاسدة أو التالفة، كما أنّها ستكون تحت إشراف الجهات المعنية بالدولة.
واقترحوا على الجهات المعنية إنشاء ما لا يقل عن 5 أسواق صغيرة على غرار السوقَين العماني، والمركزي القديم ويضمّ كلُّ سوق ما لا يقل عن 20 منفذًا للبيع، وذلك لإتاحة المجال أمام الباعة المتجولين بعد الحصول على الرخصة المطلوبة من الجهات المعنية وموافقة الكفيل في البيع، مع الحرص على منحهم المواقع بقيمة إيجارية بسيطة تتراوح من 300 إلى 500 ريال.
وكانت وزارةُ البلدية أعلنت في وقت سابق ل الراية عن دراسة إنشاء سوق نظاميّ في أحد الأراضي الفضاء بالمنطقة الصناعية بعد القيام بتسوير الموقع وتزويده ببوابات وكاميرات وأفراد أمن بهدف تنظيم عمل الباعة، وحتى يكون السوق تحت المُراقبة، مشيرةً إلى أنَّ وجود الباعة في مواقع نظامية أفضل من انتشارهم بشكل عشوائي في شوارع المنطقة الصناعيّة.
وتنفّذُ الجهاتُ المعنيةُ بالدولة حملات مشتركة تضمّ وزارات التجارة والصناعة والبلدية والداخلية للحد من الأسواق العشوائية التي تقام بالمناطق الصناعية وباقي المناطق الأخرى بالدولة.
