QDB Announces Administrative Restructuring

Doha: Qatar Development Bank (QDB) announced Saturday that its Board of Directors has appointed Abdulrahman bin Hisham Al Suwaidi as acting chief executive officer.
QDB explained in a statement that the appointment of Al Suwaidi is part of an administrative restructuring that also included the appointment of two women to two executive administrative positions.
QDB noted that Amna Ahmed Al Mazrouei was assigned to take over a new executive department named Information Technology and Data Department; while Farha Ahmed Al Kuwari was assigned to take over as Executive Director of Strategy and Business Development.
Other departments also underwent the administrative either by merging or transferring, with the aim of developing the institutional work system and raising the levels of efficiency, operation and excellence.
Commenting on the occasion, Acting CEO of Qatar Development Bank Abdulrahman bin Hisham Al Suwaidi looked forward to continuing the journey of success of Qatar Development Bank, and building on what has been achieved in support of entrepreneurs and the private sector.
Al Suwaidi expressed pride of the distinguished work environment at QDB, and the young talents of both genders who constitute an added value for QDB to be able to better serve the private sector and small and medium-sized companies in the State of Qatar.

الدوحة: أعلن بنك قطر للتنمية، اليوم، أن مجلس إدارته عين السيد عبدالرحمن بن هشام السويدي رئيسا تنفيذيا بالإنابة للبنك.
وأوضح البنك، في بيان، أن تعيين السويدي جاء ضمن عملية إعادة هيكلة إدارية شملت أيضا تعيين سيدتين في منصبين إداريين تنفيذين، حيث تم استحداث إدارة تنفيذية جديدة تحت مسمى إدارة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والبيانات، وتم تكليف السيدة آمنة أحمد المزروعي بتوليها، فيما تم تكليف السيدة فرحة أحمد الكواري بمهام الإدارة التنفيذية للاستراتيجية وتطوير الأعمال.
كما طال التغيير بقية الإدارات كذلك إما دمجا أو نقلا، بهدف تطوير منظومة العمل المؤسسي ورفع مستويات الكفاءة والتشغيل والتميز.
وقال السيد عبدالرحمن بن هشام السويدي الرئيس التنفيذي بالإنابة لبنك قطر للتنمية “نتطلع سويا في مواصلة رحلة نجاح بنك قطر للتنمية، والبناء على ما تم تحقيقه دعما لرواد الأعمال والقطاع الخاص”.
وعبر السويدي عن فخره ببيئة العمل المميزة وكذلك الكفاءات الشابة من الجنسين التي تعتبر الرصيد الأول والقيمة المضافة، للتمكن من خدمة القطاع الخاص والشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في دولة قطر بشكل أفضل.
