Chinese hacking team wins $ 300,000 for hacking the iPhone 13 in just 15 seconds

A Chinese hacking team hacked Apple’s latest iPhone 13 Pro products in just 15 seconds, getting $300,000.
Although the American company Apple is characterized by strong operating systems that prevent it from being easily hacked, but the Chinese hackers – according to the American magazine “Forbes”, were able to hack the iPhone 13 Pro within the Tianfu hacking competition, which is held annually in China.
Pangu’s ethical hacking team was able to break the security of Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 15.0.2 in the iPhone 13 Pro, as the team remotely controlled the phone and hacked it in just 15 seconds.
Pangu Ethical Piracy team won the $300,000 Chinese Tianfu Competition Award, one of the world’s most important piracy competitions, similar to the world-famous Pwn2Own competitions
The Tianfu Chinese Hacking Competition included a number of other reviews by other hacking teams such as Kunlun Lab, which managed to hack the iPhone 13 Pro directly on stage using the remote code execution of safari web browser on the phone, but pangu team achieved greater success, winning first place and getting the big prize of $300,000.
Ethical piracy competitions focus on detecting security vulnerabilities in companies, phones and technological systems, and programming engineers, software researchers as well as amateur programming enthusiasts are racing to discover the various gaps so companies can notice and address them later.

ورغم أن شركة أبل الأمريكية تتميز بأنظمة تشغيل قوية تمنع اختراقها بسهولة، لكن القراصنة الصينيين – بحسب مجلة “فوربس” الأمريكية، استطاعوا اختراق آيفون 13 برو ضمن مسابقة Tianfu تيانفو للقرصنة والتي تقام سنويا في الصين.
واستطاع فريق Pangu للقرصنة الأخلاقية كسر أمان أحدث نظام تشغيلى من أبل، وهو iOS 15.0.2 والموجود في هاتف iPhone 13 Pro ، حيث قام الفريق بالتحكم في الهاتف من بعد واختراقه خلال 15 ثانية فقط.
وفاز فريق Pangu للقرصنة الأخلاقية بجائزة مسابقة Tianfu الصينية لتتم مكافأتهم بجائزة قيمتها 300 ألف دولار أمريكي، حيث تعد المسابقة واحدة من اهم مسابقات القرصنة في العالم، وتشبه مسابقات Pwn2Own الشهيرة عالميا.
وضمت مسابقة مسابقة Tianfu الصينية للقرصنة عددا من الاستعراضات الأخرى التي قام بها فرق القرصنة الأخرى مثل فريق Kunlun Lab الذى استطاع اختراق هاتف آيفون 13 برو مباشرةً على خشبة المسرح باستخدام استغلال تنفيذ التعليمات البرمجية عن بُعد لمتصفح الويب Safari على الهاتف، إلا أن فريق Pangu حقق نجاحا أكبر، واستطاع الفوز بالمركز الأول والحصول على الجازة الكبيرة بقيمة 300 ألف دولار.
وتركز مسابقات القرصنة الأخلاقية على اكتشاف الثغرات الأمنية في الشركات والهواتف والأنظمة التكنولوجية، ويتسابق فيها مهندسو البرمجة والباحثين في مجال البرمجيات وكذلك الهواة من محبى البرمجة، حيث يكتشفون الثغرات المختلفة ليخبروا بها الشركات لتقوم بمعالجتها فيما بعد.
