Doha: Qatar Chamber (QC) signed on Sunday a purchase agreement with Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company for purchasing a new headquarter for the Chamber in the Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City.
The agreement was signed by HE Chairman of Qatar Chamber Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani and CEO of Qatari Diar Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, on the sidelines of the opening of Cityscape Qatar 2021 at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), in the presence of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, and a number of QC board members and leading businessman.
Commenting on the occasion, HE QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani expressed his pleasure with signing the agreement, noting that Lusail City is the city of the future and the first smart city in the region owing to its state-of-the-art infrastructure and the investment opportunities it offers for businessmen.
HE Sheikh Khalifa said that the Chambers new headquarter coincides with the renaissance witnessed by the State of Qatar, stressing that it will be properly equipped to suit all the activities, services and events provided by the Chamber to the private sector.
The Chambers current headquarter will be transferred to the new building after it is fully completed, HE said, adding that transferring the Chamber to the Commercial Boulevard will further enhance the services it offers its members.
HE QC Chairman indicated that the Commercial Boulevard is one of the unique projects in Lusail City for its unique diversity as it consists of spacious buildings designed for multipurpose uses including retail, corporate offices, hotels, residential units, and convention centers.
Commending the Cityscape Qatar, HE Sheikh Khalifa said that it constitutes an important platform for real estate companies to announce their new projects and communicate with potential investors in Qatar and world countries, pointing out that the Qatari real estate sector has managed to overcome the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic which affected the whole world.
On his part, Qatari Diar CEO Eng. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah expressed his contentment for signing a purchase contract to Qatar Chambers new headquarters in Lusail, adding that, the Chambers shifting to Lusail City is an important addition to the services provided by the city in line with Qatari Diars vision about Lusail to become the economic capital city of the country.
“Lusail city consists of several ministries and government departments along with significant multinational companies and institutions. We are grateful and pleased to welcome Qatar Chamber to be a part of Lusail City where its headquarters will be located,” he stressed.
Eng. Al Attiyah noted that the building that has been purchased today will be the new headquarters of Qatar Chamber. The building is commercial-administrative that features a modern design in the main Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City which constitutes a land area of 7,687 square meters and a total rental area of about 17000 square meters with a height of ten floors.
It is noteworthy that the Commercial Boulevard is 1.3-kilometer long and includes a group of luxurious multi-use residential units and shops designed in line with the highest international quality standards.
Located at the heart of Lusail City and starts from Al Khor road west to towers of Lusail Plaza east, the Commercial Boulevard is a dynamic and diverse commercial and residential destination in Lusail City. It consists of 18 spacious buildings designed for multipurpose uses including retail, corporate offices, hotels, residential units, and convention centers.
It also will include a wide range of shopping centers, 4 and 5-star hotels, offices, art galleries, libraries, studios, retail spaces, auto showrooms, eateries, and recreational areas.

الدوحة: وقعت غرفة تجارة وصناعة قطر، وشركة الديار القطرية للاستثمار العقاري، اليوم، اتفاقية لشراء المبنى الجديد لغرفة قطر في الشارع التجاري لمدينة لوسيل /درب لوسيل – “البوليفارد”/، والذي سيصبح المقر الرئيسي للغرفة.
وقع الاتفاقية كل من سعادة الشيخ خليفة بن جاسم بن محمد آل ثاني رئيس غرفة قطر والمهندس عبدالله بن حمد العطية الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الديار القطرية، وذلك على هامش افتتاح معرض /سيتي سكيب قطر/ بمركز الدوحة للمعارض والمؤتمرات، بحضور سعادة السيد علي بن أحمد الكواري وزير التجارة والصناعة والقائم بأعمال وزير المالية، وعدد من أعضاء مجلس إدارة غرفة قطر وعدد من رجال الأعمال.
وبهذه المناسبة، أعرب سعادة الشيخ خليفة بن جاسم بن محمد آل ثاني، عن سعادته بتوقيع اتفاقية شراء المبنى الجديد لغرفة قطر في مدينة لوسيل، التي تعتبر مدينة المستقبل وأول مدينة ذكية في المنطقة بما تتضمنه من بنية تحتية متطورة وفرص استثمارية فريدة لرجال الأعمال، حيث ستصبح مدينة لوسيل بعد اكتمالها أحد أهم مراكز الأعمال على مستوى المنطقة.
وأوضح سعادته أن المبنى الجديد للغرفة سيواكب النهضة التي تشهدها دولة قطر، حيث سيتم تجهيزه ليصبح بيتا حقيقيا للتجار تُقدم من خلاله جميع الأنشطة والفعاليات والخدمات التي يحتاجها القطاع الخاص، لافتا إلى أن الغرفة ستنتقل إلى المبنى الجديد بعد الانتهاء من تجهيزه.
وأضاف أن مشروع الشارع التجاري /درب لوسيل- “البوليفارد”/ يعتبر من المشروعات الفريدة التي تحتضنها مدينة لوسيل، وذلك بما يتضمنه من تنوع فريد حيث يضم مباني مخصصة للمكاتب ومساحات البيع بالتجزئة والفنادق والوحدات السكنية ومراكز المعارض، منوها بأن انتقال مبنى الغرفة إلى “البوليفارد” سيعطيها إضافة جديدة في إطار تعزيز خدماتها للقطاع الخاص.
وأشار رئيس غرفة قطر إلى أن معرض /سيتي سكيب قطر/ يعتبر منصة مهمة لشركات التطوير العقاري للإعلان عن مشروعاتها الجديدة والتواصل مع جمهور كبير من المستثمرين المحتملين في القطاع العقاري من دولة قطر ومن مختلف دول العالم، لافتا إلى أن القطاع العقاري في قطر بدأ في استعادة بريقه من جديد بعدما تخلص من آثار جائحة فيروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/ والتي طالت العالم بأسره، متوقعا أن تشهد السنوات المقبلة انتعاشا في القطاع العقاري القطري.
من جانبه، أعرب المهندس عبدالله بن حمد العطية الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الديار القطرية، عن سعادته بتوقيع اتفاقية بيع المبنى لغرفة قطر، قائلا إن انتقال الغرفة إلى مدينة لوسيل يعتبر إضافة هامة للخدمات التي توفرها المدينة تماشياً مع رؤية الشركة لأن تكون المدينة العاصمة الاقتصادية للدولة.
وبين المهندس العطية أن مدينة لوسيل تحتضن العديد من الوزارات والجهات الحكومية، إلى جانب كبرى الشركات والمؤسسات المحلية والعالمية، متطلعاً إلى استقبال غرفة قطر لتنضم إلى الجهات التي اختارت أن يكون مقرها الرئيسي في مدينة لوسيل.
وأوضح أن المبنى الذي تم بيعه اليوم ليكون المقر الجديد لغرفة تجارة وصناعة قطر هو مبنى تجاري – إداري مميز بتصميم عصري فريد في الشارع التجاري الرئيسي -درب لوسيل – في قلب مدينة لوسيل، ويقع على مساحة أرض تبلغ 7687 مترا مربعا ومساحة تأجيرية إجمالية تبلغ حوالي 17000 متر مربع بارتفاع عشرة أدوار.
يذكر أن الشارع التجاري /درب لوسيل/ يمتد على طول 1.3 كيلومتر. ويعتبر وجهة تجارية وسكنية ديناميكية ومتنوعة بمدينة لوسيل، حيث يضم بين جنباته مجموعة من الوحدات السكنية الفاخرة متعددة الاستخدامات والمحلات التجارية المصممة وفق أعلى معايير الجودة العالمية.
وتمتد منطقة الشارع التجاري /درب لوسيل/ من قلب مدينة لوسيل، وتحديدا من طريق الخور السريع غربًا إلى أبراج لوسيل بلازا شرقاً، حيث يحتضن 18 مبنى مخصصاً للاستخدام ضمن 5 مجالات رئيسية، مساحات البيع بالتجزئة، والمكاتب، والفنادق، والوحدات السكنية، ومراكز المعارض.
ومن المقرر أن يستضيف الشارع التجاري مجموعة كبيرة من منافذ التسوق، إلى جانب الفنادق من فئة 4 و5 نجوم، والمساحات المكتبية، والمعارض الفنية، والمكتبات، والاستوديوهات، ومنافذ البيع بالتجزئة، وصالات عرض السيارات، والمطاعم، والمرافق الترفيهية.
