Doha: A number of citizens called on the concerned authorities to find realistic and viable solutions to radically eliminate the problem of traffic, which worsened again in the streets of Doha and surrounding areas after the re-application of the full presence of employees of ministries, government institutions, private companies and school students, especially Corniche Street and February 22nd and Airport Street, especially in the area between bank signals up to corniche signals and streets surrounding public and private schools and the extension of Najma Road from the signals of Al-Ahly Club to the entrance of Sabah Al-Ahmad axis, Al-Rayyan Road, and other roads and streets in Al-Sadd, Fereej Kulaib and Bin Omran.
They pointed out that innovative solutions can reduce traffic congestion such as modifying the employees working hours and postponing the maintenance of vital roads to the summer and for some employees to work remotely, as well as modifying the traffic system, taking care to increase the number of bridges, cancel roundabouts located on the exits of bridges such as Midmac exit on Salwa Road, and Abu Samra Road exit on February 22nd and replace them with bridges or tunnels to work on smoothening traffic and avoid traffic jams.
They said: One of the main reasons for the daily traffic is due to the wrong behaviors of some drivers, such as the lack of knowledge of some alternative roads that avoid drivers to enter busy streets, as well as driving at a slow speed and less than 80 km/h on highways, in addition to the phenomenon of drivers whose vehicles are exposed to minor traffic accidents in the middle of the road, demanding government ministries and private companies to take into account the employees at the moment and apply the spirit of law with the employee who is forced to be late, and give him a grace period of 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes, stressing that a large number of employees go out early, but they have to be late because of the suffocating traffic jams they face on some streets.

الدوحة: دعا عددٌ من المُواطنين الجهات المعنية إلى إيجاد حلول واقعية وقابلة للتطبيق للقضاء جذريًا على مشكلة الزحام المروري التي تفاقمت مرةً أخرى في شوارع الدوحة والمناطق المحيطة بعد عودة تطبيق الحضور الكامل لموظفي الوزارات والمؤسسات الحكومية والشركات الخاصة وطلبة المدارس، وخصوصًا شارع الكورنيش و22 فبراير وشارع المطار وخاصة في المساحة الواقعة بين إشارات البنوك حتى إشارات الكورنيش والشوارع المحيطة بالمدارس الحكومية والخاصة وامتداد طريق نجمة من إشارات النادي الأهلي وصولًا إلى مدخل محور صباح الأحمد وطريق الريان، وغيرها من الطرق والشوارع الأخرى في السد وفريج كليب وبن عمران. ولفتوا إلى أن الحلول المبتكرة يمكن أن تحد من الزحام المروري مثل تعديل دوام الموظفين وتأجيل أعمال صيانة الطرق الحيوية إلى فصل الصيف وعمل بعض الموظفين عن بُعد، فضلًا عن تعديل النظام المروري، مع الحرص على زيادة عدد الجسور، وإلغاء الدوارات الواقعة على مخارج الجسور مثل مخرج مدماك على طريق سلوى، ومخرج طريق أبو سمرة على طريق 22 فبراير واستبدالها بجسور أو أنفاق للعمل على انسيابية الحركة المرورية وتجنّب الزحام المروري.
وقالوا: إنّ أحد الأسباب الرئيسية للزحام اليومي يعود للسلوكيات الخطأ من بعض السائقين، مثل عدم معرفة البعض للطّرق البديلة التي تجنّبهم الدخول في شوارع مزدحمة، وأيضًا القيادة بسرعة بطيئة وأقل من 80 كم في الساعة في الشوارع السريعة، بالإضافة إلى ظاهرة وقوف السائقين الذين تتعرض مركباتهم للحوادث المرورية البسيطة وسط الطريق، مُطالبين الوزارات الحكومية والشركات الخاصة بمُراعاة الموظفين في الوقت الحالي وتطبيق روح القانون مع الموظّف الذي يضطر للتأخر عن موعد دوامه الرسمي، ومنحه فترة سماح 30 دقيقة بدلًا من 15 دقيقة، مؤكّدين أن عددًا كبيرًا من الموظفين يخرجون في توقيت مبكر، ولكنهم يضطرون للتأخّر عن دوامهم بسبب الزحام المروريّ الخانق الذي يواجههم في بعض الشوارع.
