Doha: A number of car dealership owners in Madinat Al Mawater confirmed that the easing of the restrictions of Corona and the camping season contributed to increasing the demand for the purchase of cars of all kinds, especially SUVs and “pick-ups” by more than 80% compared to the past months, pointing to the high demand from citizens of neighboring countries, especially saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman to buy 4×4 vehicles that are not more than 6 years old.
Car dealership owners told al-Raya: The high demand for the purchase of SUVs and “pick-ups” both Japanese and American has become more than supply, which led to a rise in the price of vehicles by 12 to 15% compared to the summer months, pointing out that Madinat Al Mawater witnesses after 4 p.m. demand of a large number of customers whether citizens, residents or visitors from the GCC countries to buy.
A number of Madinat Al Mawater goers told Al Raya: The city of Mawatar is one of the most distinctive and successful places that the stakeholders have been keen to establish, especially since it includes all the car showrooms that sell new and used vehicles, and customers from the GCC countries said: The prices of cars in Qatar are the lowest, and the number of kilometers travelled is lower than their countries, and many of the types offered have not been exposed to traffic accidents.

الدوحة: أكّد عددٌ من أصحاب معارض السيارات في مدينة «مواتر» أن تخفيف قيود كورونا وموسم التخييم ساهما في زيادة حجم الطلب على شراء السيارات بجميع أنواعها، خاصة سيارات الدفع الرباعي و»البيك أب» بنسبة تخطت 80% مُقارنة بالأشهر الماضية، مُشيرين إلى ارتفاع الطلب من مواطني الدول المجاورة وخاصة من المملكة العربية السعودية والكويت وسلطنة عُمان لشراء مركبات الدفع الرباعي التي لم يتجاوز عمرها 6 سنوات.
وقال أصحاب معارض لـ الراية: إنَّ ارتفاع الطلب على شراء سيارات الدفع الرباعي و»البيك أب» سواء اليابانية أو الأمريكية أصبح أكثر من المعروض، الأمر الذي أدّى لارتفاع سعر المركبات بنسبة تتراوح من 12 إلى 15% مقارنة بأشهر الصيف، لافتين إلى أنّ مدينة «مواتر» تشهد بعد الساعة الرابعة عصرًا إقبالَ عدد كبير من الزبائن سواء أكانوا مواطنين أم مقيمين أم زائرين من دول مجلس التعاون للشراء.
وبدورهم، قال عددٌ من روّاد مدينة «مواتر» لـ الراية: إن مدينة مواتر من الأماكن المميّزة والناجحة التي حرصت الجهات المعنية على إقامتها، لا سيما أنها تضمّ جميع معارض السيارات التي تبيع المركبات الجديدة والمستعملة، وقال زبائن من دول مجلس التعاون: إنّ أسعار السيارات في قطر هي الأقلّ، كما أن عدد الكيلومترات المقطوعة تكون أقلّ مقارنة بدولهم، فضلًا عن أن الكثير من النوعيات المعروضة لم يتعرّض لحوادث مروريّة.
