Sheikha Moza Honors Winners of Akhlaquna and Akhlaquna Junior Awards

Doha: HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, awarded the latest batch of winners of the Akhlaquna Award and the Akhlaquna Junior Award with the accolades that their morals and values have earned them at a special ceremony in the Education City on Wednesday.
Al Anood Al Kubaisi, Lolwa Al Musafri, and Fatima Al Naimi were crowned the Cycle 4 winners of the Akhlaquna Award for their initiative Grass Banking, which brings together education and agriculture. The project was founded when they were at school and it has worked to identify neglected areas that can be turned into green spaces for future generations to adopt. The project has helped families in need meet their food requirements, in cooperation with Qatar Charity.
Other projects shortlisted for the Akhlaquna Award were Qatar Medical Students Association, which aims to bring together medical and healthcare students across the country to help shape the future of Qatars healthcare landscape; and Step One Kids, a YouTube channel that educates Arab children, in an entertaining way, about the right way to live, talk, eat, play, and nurture a range of other skills.
Meanwhile, the Akhlaquna Junior winners for the Grades 1-3 category were Mohammed Hilal Al Mohannadi of Qatar Academy Al Khor; Lolwa Ali Almahmood of Qatar Academy Al Wakra; and Ali Fahad AlSulaiti of Tariq Bin Ziad School.
In the Grades 4-6 category, Rawdha Nayef Al Emadi of Al Arqam Academy for Girls, Abdualla Hilal Al Mohannadi of Qatar Academy Al Khor, and Shouq Hamad Al Adbah of Khadija bint Khuwailid Primary Independent School for Girls were named as the winners; while in the Grades 7-9 category, AlJohara Hassan Al Subaey was the recipient of an Akhlaquna Junior Award.
The ceremony was attended by HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation; and HE Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports.
The winners of the Akhlaquna Award were chosen following a public vote and assessment by a jury comprising Dr. Jassim Sultan, Director of Wijdan Cultural Center; Dr. Emad El-Din Shahin, Dean of the College of Islamic Studies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, a QF member; Professor Mabrouk Zeid Elkheir, Director of the National Center for Research in Islamic Sciences and Civilization in Algeria; and Dr. Hissa Mohammad Sadiq, Emeritus Professor at Qatar University and former Dean of the College of Education.
Built around the core moral values of mercy, honesty, generosity and tolerance, and reinforcing the interconnectivity between knowledge and morality, the Akhlaquna Award was established by QF in 2017. It recognizes members of Qatars community aged 15-24 who display social awareness, compassion, and thoughtfulness, and who consequently inspire others and improve others through their actions, ethics, mindsets, and devotion to driving positive social change.
Akhlaquna Junior which has now completed its second cycle honors school students aged 7-14 who uphold the morals and values that the Akhlaquna initiative seeks to cultivate, while showing young learners throughout Qatar how they can translate these into tangible actions both within their schools and in the wider community.

الدوحة: كرمت صاحبة السمو الشيخة موزا بنت ناصر رئيس مجلس إدارة مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع، الفائزين بجائزتي “أخلاقنا” في نسختها الرابعة و”براعم الأخلاق” في نسختها الثانية، وذلك عن مشاريعهم التي تعكس الأخلاق والقيم الحميدة التي يتحلون بها، خلال احتفالية خاصة أقيمت مساء اليوم في المدينة التعليمية.
فاز بجائزة “أخلاقنا” لهذا العام مشروع “غراس المصرفية” الذي يعمل على دمج بيئة التعلم مع مجال الزراعة تحت مظلة واحدة، والذي أسسه فريق مكون من العنود الكبيسي، ولولوة المسيفري، وفاطمة النعيمي، حيث انطلق الفريق برحلة استكشافية للبحث عن بيئة زراعية مناسبة، وتعرف نتيجة لذلك على مساحات مهملة يمكن تحويلها إلى مساحات خضراء تستفيد منها الأجيال القادمة، وساهم هذا المشروع بالتعاون مع قطر الخيرية في مساعدة الأسر المتعففة لسد احتياجاتهم الغذائية اليومية.
وقد وقع الاختيار على المشروع الفائز بعد تصويت وتقييم لجنة التحكيم المؤلفة من: الدكتور جاسم السلطان، مدير مركز الوجدان الحضاري، والدكتور عماد الدين شاهين، عميد كلية الدراسات الإسلامية في جامعة حمد بن خليفة، والبروفيسور مبروك زيد الخير مدير المركز الوطني للبحوث في العلوم الإسلامية والحضارة بالجزائر، والدكتورة حصة محمد صادق، أستاذ الإدارة التعليمية غير المتفرغ بقسم العلوم التربوية والعميد السابق لكلية التربية بجامعة قطر.
وكان من بين المشاريع الأخرى المرشحة للفوز بجائزة “أخلاقنا” مشروع جمعية طلبة الطب في قطر، الذي يهدف إلى توحيد جميع طلاب الطب والرعاية الصحية في البلاد لإعادة تعريف مشهد الرعاية الصحية، وإلهام وتجهيز وتمكين طلاب الطب والرعاية الصحية في قطر للقيام بدور نشط في المجتمع محليا وعالميا، إضافة إلى مشروع “ستب ون كدز”، وهو عبارة عن قناة تعليمية على اليوتيوب تستهدف تعليم الأطفال العرب الطريقة الصحيحة للعيش، والتحدث، والأكل، واللعب، وغير ذلك من المهارات.
أما بالنسبة لجائزة براعم الأخلاق، فقد فاز ضمن الفئة العمرية لطلاب (الصف الأول إلى الصف الثالث) كل من محمد هلال المهندي من أكاديمية قطر الخور، ولولوة علي المحمود من أكاديمية قطر-الوكرة، وعلي فهد السليطي من مدرسة طارق بن زياد، وعن الفئة العمرية لطلاب (الصف الرابع إلى الصف السادس)، فاز كل من روضة نايف العمادي من أكاديمية الأرقم للبنات، وعبدالله هلال المهندي من أكاديمية قطر الخور، وشوق حمد العذبة من مدرسة خديجة بن خويلد الابتدائية للبنات، أما في الفئة العمرية لطلاب (الصف السابع إلى الصف التاسع) فقد حظيت الطالبة الجوهرة حسن السبيعي بالفوز.
حضر الحفل سعادة الشيخة هند بنت حمد آل ثاني، نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة مؤسسة قطر والرئيس التنفيذي للمؤسسة، إلى جانب سعادة السيد صلاح بن غانم العلي، وزير الثقافة والرياضة.
وتتمحور جائزة “أخلاقنا” التي أطلقتها مؤسسة قطر في عام 2017 حول ركائز الرحمة والتسامح والصدق والكرم وتعزيز الصلة الوطيدة بين الأخلاق والمعرفة، وتهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على أفراد مجتمع دولة قطر ممن تتراوح أعمارهم بين 15-24 عاما، ويجسدون مثالا يحتذى به في تعزيز التضامن الاجتماعي والتعاطف مع الآخرين، ويشكلون مصدر إلهام للآخرين من خلال سلوكياتهم وأفكارهم وأفعالهم، وسعيهم لدفع عجلة التقدم والتطور الاجتماعي.
كما تهدف جائزة “براعم الأخلاق”، إلى تكريم طلاب المدارس الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 7-14 عاما، ممن يظهرون قيما تشكل جوهر جائزة “أخلاقنا”، كما تهدف إلى حث هؤلاء الطلاب على ترجمة هذه القيم إلى ممارسات فعلية داخل مدرستهم وعلى نطاق المجتمع ككل.
