ADLSA Provides Shops for Productive Families at The Pearl

Doha: The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs announced the provision of shops for productive families at the “Community Markets” project in The Pearl.

The Ministry revealed the near completion of the project that serves productive families “home-based business” in The Pearl City. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and the United Development Company.

The “Community Markets” project aims to provide free multiple outlets for productive families. It includes (29) shops for selling sweets, traditional foods, traditional clothes, abayas, perfumes, restaurants, etc.. In addition, the project includes a social development center to train productive families on handicrafts and on the best practices to enable and encourage them to establish their own companies, thus contributing to enhancing the economic and social development and prosperity of the State of Qatar.

Selecting the beneficiaries of the project will be through a lottery, which will be attended by representatives from the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, the Endowments Department of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the United Development Company.

The Ministry will reveal all project details, registration and selection mechanism, as well as controls for the use of the designated stores in the coming weeks.

Through this project, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs seeks to develop an integrated system of services and support to promote the economic activities carried out by productive families, through community markets that serve as an incubator to support home-based businesses.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية عن توفير محلات للأسر المنتجة بمشروع “أسواق مجتمعية” بمدينة اللؤلؤة.

وكشفت الوزارة عن قرب الانتهاء من المشروع الذي يخدم الأسر المنتجة “أصحاب المشاريع المنزلية ” في مدينة اللؤلؤة، والذي يقام بالشراكة مع وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، والشركة المتحدة للتنمية.

ويهدف مشروع “أسواق مجتمعية” إلى توفير منافذ بيع متعددة للأسر المنتجة بشكل مجاني وتشمل (29) محلا بأنشطة مختلفة كبيع الحلويات والأكلات الشعبية، والملابس التراثية ، والعبايات، والعطور والمطاعم وغيرها، هذا بالإضافة إلى إنشاء مركز تنموي اجتماعي لتدريب الأسر المنتجة على الحرف اليدوية وعلى أفضل الممارسات لتمكينهم وتشجيعهم على تأسيس شركاتهم الخاصة مما يساهم في تعزيز التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لدولة قطر وازدهارها.

وستكون آلية اختيار المستفيدين في المشروع عبر القرعة والتي ستتم بحضور ممثلين من وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، وإدارة الأوقاف بوزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، ووزارة التجارة والصناعة والشركة المتحدة للتنمية.

وستقوم الوزارة بالكشف عن كافة تفاصيل المشروع وآلية التسجيل والاختيار وضوابط استخدام المحلات المخصصة خلال الأسابيع القادمة.

وتسعى وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية ،عبر هذا المشروع إلى تطوير منظومة متكاملة من الخدمات والدعم للنهوض بالأنشطة الاقتصادية التي تقوم بها الأسر المنتجة من خلال أسواق مجتمعية تكون بمثابة حاضنة لدعم مشاريع هذه الأسر.
