Twitter users traded a number of graphics, designs and fabricated allegations about the “Host fan” initiative with the aim of pitting public opinion.
The fabricated allegations claimed that the initiative violated Qatari customs, traditions and values, according to strange allegations, which were ridiculed by Twitter users.
The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy launched the initiative to introduce fans participating in this pioneering experience to Qatar’s authentic Arab hospitality, its long-standing customs, to enrich their experience during their stay in the country, and to introduce them to the country’s great cultural diversity.
This innovative project will allow citizens and residents to host fans and football enthusiasts from all over the world in their chosen hosting venue for varying periods of time as the host wishes through a number of diverse hosting options in the place where he wishes to host the fan, where the host will accompany the fan during his stay, during which he will be available to introduce him closely to the most prominent features and customs of the community, and the tourist and cultural destinations scattered across the country.
It is worth mentioning that the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy has not announced the criteria for the distribution of the masses according to this initiative and has not issued any statements about it, but some have fabricated the drifts in an attempt to stir up public opinion and show that the initiative is contrary to Qatari customs.
The Committee had only announced that the initiative:
– The initiative will be limited to fully vaccinated hosts and fans against the coronavirus in accordance with the preventive and precautionary measures in force in Qatar in this regard.
- To be 18 years of age and older.
- The initiative is free of charge to participants.

الدوحة: تداول رواد موقع تويتر عدد من الجرافات والتصميمات والادعاءات المفبركة حول مبادرة “كن أنت المستضيف” بهدف تأليب الرأي العام .
وزعمت الادعاءات المفبركة أن المبادرة تخالف العادات والتقاليد والقيم القطرية، وفق مزاعم غريبة، سخر منها رواد تويتر .
وكانت اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث قد أطلقت المبادرة بهدف تعريف المشجعين المشاركين في تلك التجربة الرائدة بكرم الضيافة العربي الأصيل الذي تشتهر به دولة قطر، وعاداتها العريقة، والإسهام في إثراء تجربتهم خلال فترة إقامتهم بالدولة، وتعريفهم بالتنوع الثقافي الكبير الذي تتمتع به البلاد.
وسيتيح ذلك المشروع المبتكر للمواطنين والمقيمين استضافة المشجعين وعشاق كرة القدم من جميع أنحاء العالم في محل الاستضافة الذي يختارونه لمدد متفاوتة حسب رغبة المستضيف عبر عدد من خيارات الاستضافة المتنوعة في المكان الذي يرغب في استضافة المشجع فيه؛ حيث سيصحب المستضيف المشجع خلال فترة إقامته، وسيقوم خلالها على ضيافته ليعرفه عن كثب على أبرز السمات والعادات المميزة للمجتمع، والوجهات السياحية والثقافية المنتشرة بالبلاد.
يذكر أن اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث لم تعلن عن معايير توزيع الجماهير وفق هذه المبادرة ولم تصدر أي بيانات بخصوصها، غير أن البعض فبرك الانفوجرافات في محاولة لتأليب الرأي العام وإظهار أن المبادرة تخالف العادات القطرية .
وكانت اللجنة قد أعلنت فقط أن المبادرة :
– ستقتصر المبادرة على المستضيفين والمشجعين الحاصلين على الجرعات الكاملة للقاح كورونا المستجد (كوفيد-19)، عملاً بالإجراءات والتدابير الوقائية والاحترازية المعمول بها في دولة قطر في هذا الشأن.
– أن يكونوا في سن الـ 18 وما فوق.
– المبادرة مجانية بدون مقابل مادي للمشاركين فيها.
